At level 50 I went to try my luck at camping the ac, but wasn't sure where the spawn was exactly. I wandered around the island a bit and this was the only spawn I found so I tried to kill it since it conned blue. Almost killed it but he caught up with me in the end and killed me without much hp left at all (I don't think he runs when low on hp, but I could be wrong). I probably would have died anyway if I did kill him due to the level 52 corrupted that spawns immediately, but I wouldn't have lost so much exp from the death =(

This creature is the PlaceHolder for the Corrupted Seafury Cyclops. All of us druids would appreciate it if you would leave these two mobs alone. No class has any reason to kill them besides druids performing their epic quest. So save yourself the time and trouble, as well as any druids in the area.

As far as people saying "oh be nice and let a druid loot it, its for his epic". Well GET LOST!!! I kill it and destroy the loot just to **** off druids. I cant even begin to remember how many times I had to compete with a druid for the peggy cloak in SK. You NEVER hear anyone say "oh be nice and let a mage loot it", but instead you hear /auction Chaining peggy cloak for 20k (hehe) from a druid. Last month a bunch of us got togehter and took down Faydedar in TD. Most of us were guildys but a couple just came along for the fun. Well the "pod of seawater" dropped and gee we had no druids with us. So there were a few druids in the zone that knew we were taking him down and they all asked if they could loot it. Ofcourse me being a druid hater ), I told them sure ( for 40k ) and they all complained "its for our epic it does you no good". None wanted to pay for it so the it got looted then DESTROYED and boy did that **** them off. So for all you druids out there trying to make money off the mage epic with the peggy cloak, think twice about it and maybe if you do kill pegasus then let a mage loot it and maybe that mage will return the favor when the time comes for you epic. I finally got my epic after about 3 months of killing in SK for the cloak and I dont feel bad at all about destroying that piece or any other piece for druid epic if I have the chance to **** of a druid. After playing this game for about a yeah and a half, I see now that Verant made the druid class just to be farmers and attempted KS'ers. Well a mage with his epic is VERY hard to KS from, considering its the best epic in the game. Have a nice day )

Have you noticed. That poster didn't have the guts to post their name so everyone would know who they are. I think it is just a sad Druid that hasn't been able to get anything.

Hmmmm wonder how a 2 year old can play this game. Hope your epic goes well.
SOOO, you've never had a druid port you for free or Sow you when you needed one? I'm sure if you had though that was an exception as all of us druids are mean and nasty. I suppose its much easier to judge a group of people by the actions of a few, and we all know how well that does the world.

I am trying to understand your bitterness and spiteful behavior. Certainly this is not the way to change the way you are being treated by druids, but if this makes you feel better and enjoy the game more (knowing that you could help another person sitting behing a computer somewhere, but just said, nahhhh...) thats what it's about. In so doing, however, you just have taken the same stature that you so despise in the druids you've seen. I hope you get everything you deserve.

These things are VERY good EXP. Thats like saying Dont kill Crusaders in Cazic because you are not SK. Tis very foolish.

its not foolish at all. the only thing u'll gain by killing this is death or a piece of loot that u can't even use. let the druids have it. its a rare enough spawn as it is, and since we need a group to kill the corrupted... well its even less fun camping a rare spawn in a group out in the middle of nowhere. and the other 8 rare spawns that we needa kill for this half of our epic don't exactly help out.

First of all tainted dropes nothing at all, NOTHING. So you would not be getting anything at all except very good exp. Second by killing tainted hes doing you a favour because that spawns the corrupted who dropes your epic piece. Third they are not that 'rare' Ive been hunting sea furies for a while, and most of the time there is either a corrupted or tainted up.
Have to agree. Almost every time I go to OOT the Tainted or Croupted is up.

If a Corrupted Seafury spawns immediatly on his body then how do u loot it?

you either loot the first corpse real quick and hightail it out of there, or you kill the corrupted one too
if you don't want to kill the corrupted one, snare it, have someone kite it away, loot, then everyone gate...

a mob will only "summon" you if you do damage to it. snaring the mob will aggro it, without it summoning you.

A snare will get you summoned very fast, I have snared mobs that were under 50% hp and been summoned without having done any dmg, snare is a HUGE aggro

Ok, i didn't explain it very well. The mob will summon you if damage has been done to it, and you get on to the hate list by aggroing it. So snaring a mob at 50% HP will get you summoned, pulling with snare will not.
You don't have to do anything to be summoned. I've been summoned and killed just for being too near while someone else killed it.

lol incase you are not smart enough to wipe your ***!!! notice in the post he IF YOU DON"T DO DAMAGE!!!!! means that if the mob has no damage they WILL NOT summon you!! i hope this helps the people that don't understand what they are reading =P

If this is anything like the tainted HG, it has no loot, and the corrupted spawns as soon as this dies. If you are a non-druid and kill this, at least make a druid's day and let him/her loot the drop from the corrupted.
