Bad move on his part I had FM and was fully buffed. He took his toll on my scaly hide but I managed to fend him off till my Warder annoyed him.
I sat there and healed pet till Buster (my warder) tore him a new one.
No agro from the spells I cast on my warder saved my life.
Corrupted -> 0
Churon -> 1
Dont get me wrong it was CLOSE.

The corrupted seafury cyclops spawns immediately upon the death of the tainted seafury cyclops (spawns at its corpse).
It hits for a max ~150 and summons.

We are on the Drinal SERVER most nights and we would kill the Corrupted 1 or 2 times a night for various druids. We do this for free and a chance to hurt the corrupted.
We have never lost a fight with this guy. He is tough and as long as you have a Druid or Cleric DEDICATED to healing the Meat Shield and keeping an eye on AGRO you will be fine.
Remember he summons and once you are near him he will pound you for 150+ till you are dead. Druids will find that they MUST group to kill it.
We dont need a cleric/druid as the Corrupted falls very quickly now. BUT I strongly recommend one.
No bragging but at 50th Level I will try and SOLO him. Will let you know the results. Will be close.

Just wanted to add that a 51 Mage and a level 39 or higher cleric can take this guy pretty easy.
Not bragging, just wanted to give you an idea of his strength.

I took this guy down (60 Druid, no epic) with the help of a Lvl 48 Druid, but it was very close and I almost died about 3 times. The 48 healed me and threw dots/nukes while I dropped dots and nukes on the clops. He summoned me a lot, and hit me for about 400 points each time, leaving me to move out of range and heal my self. The 48 finally got him mad enough to draw agro, at which point I finished him with a nuke. Conclusion: This guy can't be soloed by a Druid. While I may be wrong about this, I wouldn't recommend trying this as a solo druid. It won't be easy to get a rez out in OOT so be wary of being understaffed when you take this guy on. I'd have would up dead without the help of the other druid (Thanks Ulmus!)

Took him down easy, 3 times today. group was me, 49pally, 48pally, 38warr, 46wizzy, 53shammy and 45cleric. i tanked him the entire way never going below 80%. even started pulling him for fun, with other furbies. tanked him and another with np at all. doesnt deserve his tough rep. u want tough? go deal with Cazel in oasis.

this guy is pretty nasty. He spawns from the tainteds corpse so its pretty funny to watch big bad necros and mages solo the tainted then get rocked by the corrupted. the tainted spawns on the island and any of the seafurys can be phs. Ive been there for quite a few aa levels now cause i can solo them. tainted seems to spawn about every 5 or 6 hours...when they do i just draw it to the dock and camp aggro..(im evil) Took him down no prob with me (52 war) 60 dru 53 mage and 46 clr. took about 1 min and barely any mana.

I've killed close to 500 seafuries now quadding on the isle? Whats the trick? I've yet to see a tainted, just about 10 Quag's for the bard epic. Is there certain ph? can any of them spawn the tainted? any infos is much appreciated. 8)

I assisted a 54 druid, 51 cleric, and 39 warrior in this fight and we floored the corrupted cyc in about a minute without fear kiting.
Poison hit every time.
Lifetap dots hit every time.
Fire dots were always resisted.
The only death was the corrupted. 8)

We just took down the corrputed with me, a 52 cleric and a 51 mage. Fully buffed me and mage's pet, I pulled then let the pet take over. When pet was 50%, I took over. Cleric and mage had 60% mana left over. It can be done! Boy did it feel good too! Payback time!!

A large group is not necessary to kill this fella; he was taken out by a 56 enchanter, a 54 warrior, and a 43 druid (me). the trick is to fear kite him.

How do you make this fellow spawn? I see this question has been asked but not answered. I assumed he's like the Corrupted HG in Rathe Mts who's just suddenly (and often) there.

I heard that when you killed the Tainted Cyclops on Seafury Island, the corrupted will spawn immediately on top of the tainted's corpse. If you are going to pull him to another island for safer kiting/fear, please give a shout, so other players know there is a tainted/corrupted coming their way.
This past weekend, while I was camping AC on AC island, some jerks pulled the tainted to the AC island and failed to finished him off and no warning what so ever(TWICE), which ended up me being trained on when I fear kite the A Cyclops to the other end of the island. So please do a shout when you are going to pull to another island. I have to get my lvl 51 wizzy friend to pull them back to the Seafury island (which I gave a 10 minutes warning, 1 minute warning, and an incoming warning). I could hae done it, but I'm bound on AC, so they would have ended up coming back, hehe.
Also one time, the tainted was pulled to the sisters and was left there (druid couldn't kill him solo? Surprise surprise). He ended killing almost everyone on the stormbreaker when it dock on sisters.

Jeesh, Some people are so stupid. You must see the word "rogue" every time you type in the /who command yet still can't spell it. I've seen rouge and rougue and lots of other crap. Also, learn to use commas and periods. I just can't seem to read messages like this... one day i went to the market to buy a chicken head but someone was already buying them all and they said that they didnt want anyone else to have them the next day i saw that person and i shot them and took the heads they taster really good i wish i had more to eat they do leave a nasty aftetaste though Hard to read, eh? HOOKED ON PHONICS--Works for you dumb@$$es!

I am a lvl 48 Druid, we were killing him for my Epic. We had tried to make him spawn before, and after 5 hours of trying and getting nothing, we gave up. One day I logged in, and he was up, no one wanted to kill him, so I tried to gather some friends to take him down. In the end my group was a bit much for it.
We had:
60 Magician
54 Cleric
52 Shadow Knight
50 Wizard
49 Wizard
and me, 48 Druid
The Mage had her Epic, so the pet was more than enough tank with the SK. With a skilled pull by the SK (caught the aggro, no adds) we pulled him to a safe spot, and in under 30 seconds, he was dead. I know it was fast because no one fired more than 3 nukes. I think the Mage pet was the biggest difference, that thing can solo Seafuries. Pretty badass if you ask me :)

One of these stupid things kept comming near the hut on sister isle, and i couldn't buy the nuts, it was annoying, and i think he kept comming closer and closer to the docks... I got so scared i jumped in the water. Eventualy i got up courage and got the nuts, but i only got them a few at a time... If you make them spawn, you should kill them also!

Once on the boat to freeport in Oot this Mob was seen chasing the boat and he killed a guy on it he killed em fast as you can blink and then he went form me i ran around on the boa right before death the boat zoned i was lucky to live. Uluuvyeni

It's one of the items for the Cleansed Spirit of Antonica....plus a bunch of other stuff needed, which intern you get the Nature Walker's Scimitar (the druid epic weapon)

Slight correction... It's for the Cleansed Spirit of Faydwer, not Antonica. That's the corrupted HG/mammoth/aqua-goblin shamen.

I was in oot hunting clops when this bugger popped he was yellow to me at 49 and I couldn't solo clops yet so I did not even think about soloing him. a 53 druid in my guild wanted to take him down so my partner 45 druid me 49 wizzie some 49 sk 50 cleric and the druid took him down at Ac island no problem. he necer resisted ic or any of anyones spells relatively easy that we did again to get the 45 druid his epic
