thats the meassage you get if someone was killed by a dot, it means someone killed him with a dot.

There is also a Mith Wintersong in EC.
I someimtimes get an odd message when entering zones... roughly:
"You strike at [monster X]. [Monster X] died"
Is always a critter from the zone I enter... dunno bout if they are actually spawned or not.
So, I entered EC, saw the [monster X]=Mith Wintersong. Ran around fast (52 bard) and kept trying to track (bard track bites) but no luck. Regardless, bet there's a Mith W in EC sometimes also.

Drops varies Fine Steel weapons.

Always drops a longbow that sells for 2 pp (As a DE Nec)

Drops ringmail and chainmail rarely.
