You say, 'Hail, Fiella Fallstine'
Fiella Fallstine smiles warmly, 'I'm waiting for someone (important) to arrive. You must be it!'
You say, 'important'
Fiella Fallstine leans in and whispers, 'These overgrown badgers are nice enough. There's one friendly guy that fetches me fresh water occasionally. He pats at my hair as a sign of what I can only assume is affection while I drink. Maybe he thinks I'm his pet, or maybe that's just how he expresses friendship. Oh, but I (digress)...'
You say, 'digress'
Fiella Fallstine says ' So, yeah, when they're not being oddly friendly, they only have one thing on their mind: digging. At first there were only a few of them, and they clawed at the soil and rock with their weird paws, but then more came. Then they erected scaffolding, and brought tools, and carts. They created a heirarchy of taskmasters and workers. In a short period of time I've watched them rip this valley apart, and they're getting (more efficient) every day.'
You say, 'more efficient'
Fiella Fallstine says 'You know, it was clear to me early on that they're digging out bits of that glowing meteorite ore from the surrounding area, but what's not clear is *why*. Maybe they believe that removing the meteorite bits will heal the earth? Maybe they value the meteorite bits as rare and precious? Maybe they believe the meteorite is a gift from Brell. You know... if they dig any deeper they'll tunnel straight to the Underfoot and meet Brell himself. Hah, I can't even tell you how nice it is to finally get some company that isn't interested in (digging).'
You say, 'digging'
Fiella Fallstine flashes a genuine grin, 'Stop by any time, Gidono! Ta ta.'
