'Spawn time'- The betrayer himself has not set time, its just a PH cycle...
But the PH (as do all other mobs in this area apart from the Bridge Keeper) are on 16 minutes, not ten. So there is a chance at it every 16 min.

Gotta remember. Most of the people saying they did 'Something' either got lucky, or they're just trying to start flame wars. Very few actually share / prove it.
There is no trick to spawn raster. I myself have had him spawn 3 times in a total of 5 hours, and others are more unfortunate and can have up to 200 hours or something absolutely ridiculous. Longest i've heard is 200 hours anyway... I believe he is 1 in 20 spawn (5%) at certain times in EQ. In that he will not spawn at all at certain times and 5% at others, so i have heard. 5am and 10am in the morning and 6pm and 12pm at night or something. Though this has never been proved he did pop for me all 3 times, at these times, but i dont spose thats still true proof.

I have spent more time now trying to get the betrayer to spawn than any other part of my epic. I was able to get Raster in about 20 to 25 RL gaming hours and also discovered that his spawn timer is exactly 3 RL days - through the help and info of some other monks on Xev. I got very lucky and got a KC pipe after getting a hand group and only spending 4 or 5 hours there. The sash quests were easy at level 54 and only took about 2 hours. Took about 3 hours of killing Hasten/a Drake/Maldyn to get Zephyl to pop. Bought the Purple headband for 1500pp cause I heard what a nightmare the quest was. Got Targin about 5 hours after I got Raster and I have a theory that he may be an exact 3 day RL spawn timer also due to the fact that the other monks also got him around the same time after they got Raster.
All in all I have spent about 30 RL hours down in Chardok but it kind of sucks because Chardok on Xev is a BYOG zone (bring your own group) and it's really best that everyone be level 52+ and you have one enchanter. I have probably killed about 40 or 50 PH's for the Betrayer and no luck getting him yet. Kinda sucks that Raster was easier.... hell I completed the RoTLC quest in one day from scratch after I got Raster to pop.... now I've been waiting on Betrayer for over 2 weeks :(

Yesterday night we were helping guildmate, Nismo, to camp Betrayer as usual (for more than 1 month, playing about 4 hours daily). We killed everything near the Bridge Keeper/ Ancient Guardian camp. WOOHOO, Iksar Betrayer up and yes it dropped the pipe for monk epic! Its spawn place is next to the normal spawn point of BK. Congrats to Nismo and wish other "monkies" good luck on camping the Iksar Betrayer.

If the Drolvarg Pawbuster "only" spawned twice a day I wouldnt have been there for two weeks trying to get his sorry self. We searched him out and killed him last night.
He was red to 54, so he was at least 57...
Not too hard of a fight....even with the 3 adds we had. Our 60 ranger tried to kill aggro by sacrificing himself, but it didnt work, as they all came down anyway....I almost died, as well as 52 chanter, but luckily, no one but the ranger died...

we killed him on the way to royals ... and even though we had a big group ... I could still tell that something was different ... he has definately been beefed up since the dungeon change ...

the new location for the kisar betrayer is on the small platform that the bridges combine onto with the nook the ancient guardian/bridge keeper likes to stand. he spawns within 5 ffet of the bk on the korocrust side. be prepared to fight 5 things when u take him on - the platform has 2 nooks and a rock that hides pops.

After the re-vamp of Chardok, he now spawns deeper into Chardok... near Korocrust...

Been pulling this tunnel for three evenings solid and the Betrayer still hasn't popped. The tunnel spawns from 1 to 3 mobs and occasionally you pick up some others on the way back.. Watchout for the 'gaters' as they can be a pain *smiles*
And yes.. you need SOW for if there is a 'Templar' you can be sure he will SOW all the other mobs around you.

Get a levi and run down the zone out ramp and bank left to go into tunnel. When you hit the fork in the road yer done clearing.
Approx 2 or 3 mobs from edge to fork so just make sure those are clear all the time. Couldn't hurt to pull other mobs around the fork area, but unless yer lvl 60 you'll prolly get tons of adds if yer not careful.

he is supposed to have a ph. He does spawn not too far inside in the tunnel (assuming you are pulling from the zone in area), beofore the tunnel splits. The betrayer will have at least a couple of friends with him when he spawns so be prepared. I was told that he will despawn but he was walking to and fro along the tunnel (right in front of my face when I was fd) for at least 5-10 mins before we pulled him. Rumour has it that he spawns once a day so just be patient. It is highly advisable for the puller to get SOW before zoning in and renew it when it runs out. Good k=luck guys and gals.

HAHA u people make this quest sound so easy, TRUST ME it is NOT!!! it takes a long time and its VERY hard to obtain the items, and u dont just hand the items into "brother balatin" he is KOS and will attack u, u have to have a chanter "Charm" him and then u hand him the items, and as far as the betrayer, he is EASY to get compared to Pawduster because pawduster is in a place ALOT harder to camp then the betayer. Look through other sites for the FULL info on this Quest.

we had a bad thing happen as we killing to pawbuster we where trained and everyone died the cleric was bound to far away and there where to many mobs around to get another cleric to try and res monk so monk as me to take a death and loot the pipe and we would try to chain/multiquest it, so i need to know does it still work i would hate for monk to lose robe and other pipe.....

I fought in there tonight. We pulled to the zone line and our monk pulled this guy, so he must not spawn too far in. He was an even con to me at 50, so the level might be a little off. He had the pipe, btw, not sure if he drops it all the time though.

Actually, the haste on this does stack with Haste items like the CoF and FBSS. This is because those are permanent effect haste items, the robe's effect is actually a spell/song called Jonathan's Whistling Warsong. Its basically the effect of the song, not 'Haste', so it stacks properly.
