Would you consider this to be a raced Mob? for instance, on average, because I know all servers tend to be different, how long would you give Sev to live after he/she/it spawns? ie would it be a situation, that once you notice it is up, you have to race around frantically to get a group together for fear of Ubers trying to grab it first? Thanks in advance
I'd consider it a raced mob yes. A single group of 65th now can do him and he does drop sellable items that on most servers are worth quite a lot of platinum. I doubt he's up for more than a night on average.
The only mitigating factors are that most level 65's will not know he's up and if your lucky even if the higher end char's do know he's up they might not bother if something important is on their menu.

He is on Innoruuk server. I predicted his spawn down to the hour, as soon as he popped I tried to get enough forces for 30 mintues. I was so close then it took 5 mintues for an uber guild to zone-in and wipe him out. I felt better knowing he didn't drop the green dragon scale though! Although that means that's one less warrior who still needs Sevilious...I wish the key for Veeshan's peak was easier.
The VP key is easy to get. I got every piece except for Trak's tooth, in 1 day. After going on a couple Trak raids, I had my tooth and my key.
There is a post below that says no mention of fear. Well my guild attempted to take him down with poor attendance. We had him pulled and most of us got feared around until he summoned all of us and killed us. The second time we brought 2 higher level friends. (main tank and a cleric) and we pulled him to FoB zone. Still a little fear, but he was cake the second time.

I ran into this guy last night. I was working on the druid epic and killing off gorilla's. All of a sudden, I see this dragon running at me full speed. I take off running in wolf form and turn around when I ran out of room and was cornered. I start casting gate and get whacked pretty hard, but got the gate off.
He was blue to 61 and his pet was green. I found him up on the hill around location 4000,4000 in the corner.

My Warrior has been looking for this guy for almost a week and have not been able to locate him. Where is a good place to camp him and does any know how often and where he spawns?
I would like to know what Faction this dargon is on? CoV or RoS ???

dropped a cleric spell: The unspoken word along with the druid spell Legacy of Thorn tonight on the nameless server.
we had 20ish people(mt was 60 ogre war, with 2 clerics healing) and was over kill..only our puller died
i resised all her AE's(got fears only like twice) being lvl 56 with under 200magic/diease resists

AE stun (casts often)
Melees for over 500.
No mention of him dispelling (he may or may not)
No mention of any form of fear (he may or may not)
Required for kill, at least 4 groups, DMF, good puller, good tank or two, and 2 clerics.
Preferred have a Bard or two along to help with resists.

Easiest pull method is to have a tracker pull him to near FoB, less adds there.

Did him 1 week ago with 9 people: 60 warrior, 60 ranger, 65 cleric, 55 cleric, 55 rogue, 65 mage, 64 wizard, 54 druid, 65 bard. We killed him in roughly 5 mins, cleric never dropped below 80% mana, and warrior never dropped below 75% life. This mob does not require 4 groups.

Aye, just finished killing him 30 mins ago with 10 people. Pre-PoP he was a lot tougher. Nowdays, not as bad. Have DMF or Talisman of Tribunal, and you're set.

Clarify...he dropped the scale every time we've killed him. Surprised he didn't drop it for poster above.
It depeneds on levles. You seem to have pretty high levels in your small raid. I'm sure if all were lvl 65, Sev would be doable with one group. If all were lvl 60, I think it takes about 10-15 people to kill him. He is a weak melee, just have a bard and maybe a enchie to raise your poison resists. Afterwords he'll be a cake.

Serv does NOT requrie at least 4 groups. Can be solo'd be most classes, though the classes need to be elemental or almost elemental.

Just killed him today on Torvo server... He dropped Spell: Voice of the Berseker... is not on the list there 8)

Can someone please say what the spawn time is if anyone knows.. i know it's been posted many times before asking what it is but NO ONE has answered. kthx
Was up today 12/12/02 at about 1pm. I think that is about 6-8 hours from server up. I have heard he's random within 24 hours of server up, and between 60 and 72 hours after last death, a rule that apparently works for most kunark named dragons/VS etc.

so sad mr too good for guild...half the items you list in your magelo profile is from vex thal.. prexus guilds would be interested in your tactics on soloing emperor and the crits in there
/agree. That Talisman of Vah Kerrath requires "Soul Essence of Aten Ha Ra". Aten Ha Ra happens to be the boss of Vex Thal..who has about a few million HP (no im not joking) and hits in the thousands. The most uber guilds across all servers takes them about 30 minues MINIMUM to kill Aten Ha Ra, and this being with 30+ people. Sure you got all that by yourself..and sure you have 500+ days played...you keep telling yourself tha...

Dropped him today on Xev...Finally! His drops were: Green Scale (to me), McVaxius' Horn of War, Dragon Hero bracers x2, Treasure Hunter Satchel, Shadows of banishment, Spirit of Oak and Emissary of Thule (not listed above~59 level pet, Spectre)

The Approximate loc here Severilous spawns is 4000, 3000. If you climb the great staircase, it's the NE corner of the zone, however Sev does wander this area.

Out of curiosity, is he on CoV faction?

Nope, CoV is Velious faction. Severilious is in EJ in Kunark, therefore, if he's on any faction, it's Ros (Ring of Scale)
Actually Woushi is not free roaming. Woushi guards the druid portal in Wakening Lands, which is why it is important to have CoV faction if you get ported there.
If you do not have CoV faction, you can still get to WL through Kael. The giants in Kael along the direct path between EW and WL do not see invis (though all giants outside this path do).
Woushi is a bad a%% Make sure that if you anger that dragon, you have about 100 guildies with you to help.

Hehe, you dont need 100 guildies for Woushi unless maybe you're like way below 60...Did Woushi with 65 pally/wiz (boxed by me), 60-something mage, 65 cleric, and a 65 shammy with a 50-something rogue being 2 boxed. It was a pretty tough fight, but Woushi's dps is horrible. Only thing that really hurts is his fear/stun.

Sev dropped Mcvaxius' horn of war on the last kill I was on. It should be noted that this is also included in the loot Sev drops.

I was wondering if this is the only Green dragon that drops a green scale that's needed for the warriors epic? If they are others please post it here and let me know, thanks!
Severilous (in EJ) and Hoshkar (in VP) are the only mobs that drop the Green scale.
The green and white scales dropped off the scalekeeper on test for a short time, but this never made it live. Please stop this rumor that he drops them on live servers too :).

Hoshkar (sp?) in VP also drops the green scale. Also rumor has it that Nortlav the Scalekeeper can also drop the green scale as well as the white. However, I have never heard from anyone that has seen him drop anything other than the red. I've only killed him twice and he dropped the red scale both times.

The thing that made me stand up and take notice, however, was that he dropped a burnt book, which is for the paladin epic! It went to a paladin more senior than I, but still it was quite awesome to see.
