ok i was talking to a friend of mine and he said that if u get ally faction she will give a quest to get the blade without killing her does ne1 know if this is true and if you do what the quest is?

To answer your question about 51's being able to do her, no. I had several 60's in my group, some serious damage dealers, and she wiped a 4 group raid out in 60 seconds with her AOE. The room she is pulled too is probaly the entire range of her AOE. If you last the first tick of it, unless you get a group heal you'll all bite it. And a CR in Chardok is not a pleasant one. And yes-it does drop the warrior epic piece.

im trying to do my epic by level 51, is it possible to do this MOB at 50 with a few good groups or should i have 55+ doing this one?

No, not possible, need a large guild to take her, being a 62 lvl Shaman, she hits hard, and has some nasty AE dots. She also has lots of followers around here. Only way to do this is get in on a large raid, or be in a large high lvl guild.

It's not her Mellee that you need to worry about, it is the 2000 point unresistable AE. She only has about 12k HP, so basicaly you just need someone to take the first AE, rush in and Beat the crap outta her... lots of nukers is a must.

It was the biggest laugh of my entire life. I fell out of my chair. We cleared her room out. Then we stood outside the door. Openend it and our two wizzies with manaburn casted and she dropped, just like that. TWO mana burn nukes destroyed her, nobody else on the raid did anything else, it was open door, nuke, bam, not even a freaking fight, everyone else just stood outside and watched. That's how easy this mob is folks, ignore the other rumors of her being a nasty mob lol

um lol well most of all a manaburn can take off 70k with spell casting fury and a crit lol so thatd be easy but anyway mana burn is made to take off alot of damage so thats the reason you won lol its not as easy as you think and it is definately not easy to get the manaburn skill and no i dont punctuate or capitalize

Mana burn is an ability which was, at the time Kunark (and Velious) came out and this was a tough mob, not available. Even now not a whole lot of wizards have it on any given server. I know of maybe 4 on mine that have it.
Try it without mana burn wizards. See how it goes. I know burn crits can and will go upwards to 18k while wearing focus jewelry, but the nerf is coming to that AA skill unfortunately.
You can't really call this mob overrated when you aren't fighting her in the 'intended' way. Infact, from the sounds of it, you weren't fighting her at all.
Try it without mana burn wizards. See how it goes. I know burn crits can and will go upwards to 18k while wearing focus jewelry, but the nerf is coming to that AA skill unfortunately.

As anyone who's fought her knows, the AOE is extremely nasty and can drop ENTIRE raid forces very quickly (It is a 2400 damage in 3 ticks AOE bard song, FlamingSongofRO is the name I believe). It's also very hard to resist, so don't bother wearing resist gear. After multiple tries and trying different things, I finally figured out a decent way to take her out. It's all about executing it right.
To start; You need to kill clear & kill king room. He's a gimp. Pin him into a corner and beat on him with melee and have him mana sieved by enchanters to prevent gate and/or Complete Heals. Free cleric epic piece and other loot.
You next need to re-clear the king's room and start clearing the queen's room. Get her in the room down to 1-2 adds. This is VERY tough to pull and even the best monks will end up dying now and then. Recently she has been seen casting Tigir's Insects (AOE slow), so I'd recommend buffing up with MR in addition to regular ac hp stam buffs, but don't bother wearing MR gear. Go all AC/HP. Pulling and clearing is pretty much half of what makes her tough due to the very fast respawn time down here.
Once this is done, you need to hurry. As said above, repop time is down there fast. You want to have about a 90 second window to take her out and start to res possible dead. Invis your MA / whoever you want to agro the queen. Preferably, use a 58+ Warrior for this, and I'll explain why later. Have everyone wait at the door to the queen's room and keep it open.
When MA is ready, they agro queen, run to the part of the stage farthest from the banner in the back and then turn around so their back faces the banner and the queen faces them. This is easily done in about two seconds. Next, they call everyone in and use their MOST damaging offensive disc (I have all warriors including myself as MA use Fell Strike on contact). Nuke right off the bat, she shouldn't pingpong with warriors taunting while in fellstrike disc. Fight should last about 15 to 25 seconds -- if longer, you're may be summoning corpses. She has approximately 20k HP.
This worked for my guild last time when we took her down 3 times in a row and is the most solid way I have ever taken her down or seen her taken down. Was the last piece I needed for my epic and I now have it. For the first kill, we had about 29 or 30 people. Second time, we were down to 25 or 26. 3rd time with only around 20 people... so this isn't a total lame 'zerg' tactic.
Her respawn time is 2 hours, btw, and she DOES still drop the Insignia Protector. Got one on the third kill last time we went to chardok, which was given to our 'uber' wizard leader.

We killed her with 32 people.
Strategy is, pull with a paladin using divine aura, when she comes into the overking room (we used his room as prep area), have tanks engage, and casters IMMEDIATELY nuke. She only has about 10k hp, she dies VERY fast, if you can do this in under 30 seconds or so, she will die before the tanks die to her nasty AE

Killed her with 5 groups, dropped her in 15 seconds I think. Dang it went by fast, of course having a wizard that gets a critical blast for like 8k where she has 10k hp speeds things up...

We finally figured out a sure-fire way to beat this wench, and trust me, she has been a wench in the past.
Our tactic was to clear king room. Then have 2 monks Fd/tag the room to clear either mobs, or get the Queen with only 1-2 adds.
If the Queen comes with 1-2 adds, we would have the main tank aggro queen and turn her so that her back was facing the pit. All casters and support melee are in the pit. Her AE is directional and if you keep her back to the main force, it is hitting only the main tank. We had a 2 cleric CH rotation on the main tank, and chanters were charming the adds, or runing the tank. Once aggro was built up enough, say 15-20 seconds of main tank only, we had all melee go in and gnaw at her back. At 40% we had all casters join in on full nukage, and she finally drops.
If you can FD/tag enough of the roamers out of her room, simply prep up, send in tank to turn her back to the door, then send in clerics on CH rotation, and do the same thing as described above, only in her room.
The risks of fighting in the King room are higher, as a G-flux can aggro the library and herbalist mobs. If you cant get enough of her guards cleared tho, it is possible to fight here, but ALL nukers start nuking at 40% and dont stop.
In summary, there are three keys to success.
1) Have a good tag team pull system set up. They need to be quick, and be good at not dying.
2) Main tank MUST aggro and turn the back to the group. Her AoE is wicked, and even one cycle is enough to severely damage or kill most casters, so this is key. Turn that back!
3) Heavy nukage from all casters at about 40% non-stop. This will keep her from gating if you are fighting in the King room, and will also finish her off quickly.
Once the room is broken, the camp is very easy, and both King and Queen can be farmed with little effort.

Took the Queen out so quick last night half the casters didnt have to to cast.
Pally runs in with Divine Aura on...takes the AoE.
2 chanters...each take a side of the room each to mez.
Warriors in as fast as possible after first AoE to kill with most damaging discipline.
Dead within 8 seconds...1 AoE off and no deaths, as a cleric I had to use Elixir once on the main assist but that was it

Fire Elemental Pets will own her as they are immune to her AOE. Get 5 mages to send the pets in. Chain Heal the pets (chanters chain rune.) Have the other warriors deal with the adds.

Actually, the maxium number of pets that can engage a mob at any given time is 4, more pets won't do additional damage.
I don't think your method will work.
1. it'll take a full raiding party to just get near her. If you have enough to take out the King and Prince before her, you should be able to take her with proper execution already without the pet only attack.
2. if the chanters actually chain runed pets, its a dead chanter you'll be talking to. and you better hope your cleric have a clicky stick already cause they'll need it after a wipeout with dead chanters/bards and adds roaming around.
3. the tricky part is the pull without too many adds, your pets will die from the guards around her before you can chain heal them. =)

You're an idiot dude. This strategy is the absolute BEST strategy to kill the queen. Yes, you need a full raid party to go down there, so what? I am a monk, and as a monk I am easily able to clear out her room so its just her left inside there (its not hard at all). The easiest way to split it is to have the raid force on the top of the ramp, and you pull the queens room to the kings room and go behind the wall and FD (to avoid spells interrupting). Her room is not hard to split for an experienced monk. Once the room is cleared out, You position the raid force outside her door, have your four mages get their pets out, buff the HELL out of them and send them in. You don't need to rune, the only damage they will be taking is melee and whatever the hell the queen is casting (they are immune to AE). Assign one cleric to each pet and just sit back and watch. When queen is at 50% have casters unload from outside her room and shes dead. Doing the queen this way involves no risk, and absolutely no casualties. Strategy >>>>> zerg any day my friend.

Just thought I'd add, he's also a dumbass because he bases his stratagy on how to kill MOBs (or in this case how to flame others' stratagies) on a rumor. You can have 4 NPCs on a MOB at one time. This does not (are you listening? c'mon, 3rd grade listening skills) count for pets!!! VI cleared this up a LONG time ago. But since you've obviously never played a mage, and probably still think you iz 00ber d00d, I'm wasting any semi-intelligent feedback I try to put in this response. However, just to clear things up (and so your half-assed uninformed remarks don't ***** someone actually looking here for information up), you can have more than 4 pets on a MOB.

ok this just came to my atention im not sure if it would work or not so plz dont punk me for having this idea instead just correct me =)
1... Have 6 mages to make fire pets and target the qeen
2... all attack Only qeen using pets
3... all make more pets and keep pets comming for about 6 or 7 pets sending them out as they come
4... Attack her considering her own nukes just killed half her gaurds or took them down quit a bit and she will be just about done casting area effect nukes after about 7 or 8 times

we went after her last nght had one guy take first aoe then we charged her room, her AOE is NOT 800 dmg its closer to 1600 because i died within 20 seconds and was buffed over 3k hp, i have no idea where your getting that crap from but where ever it was, they should be /smack

Yeah, I was on an Overking raid, we were farming cleric epic notes, we were bored so we decided to try the queen, since we had so many people. Well having all those people turned out to be out downfall, we had a LOT of people to summon out...I don't remember much of the battle myself, I was in Overking's pit, no one announced they were pulling her, there was just some talk of it, my group was one of the last one's standing despite my heals, I just noticed that one of my tank's life bar was going down so I threw him divine light, within 5 seconds I was killed, she summoned me up and bam, she didn't even hit me for melee damage, I was just dead. We had her damn close, too, and it seems that's always the case, people get her really close but you fight her more then 30 seconds and that AE starts to really kick in. If you don't have a cleric with a click stick ready for rezs after she dies you're going to have repops to deal with.

Well I don't know what you all are saying but this ***** is hard has hell. We owned everyting on up through the King (killed him in like 30-45 seconds) and then we killed the queen. Out stratfor the queen was to have one person go in and agro her so she would drop the first AoE. Once it hit we all ran in invis and started hitting on her with our most damaging disc. We had a 60 warrior getting CH'd by three clerics with a 3 second delay. Well ALL the tanks died in the first 10 seconds of the fight except for the 60 warrior and we ended up killing the *****. After she was dead it was the 60 warrior, a 56 mage, 56+ chanter, clerics, and a few other casting classes that had to clear the rest of her room ( like 6 Royal Imp guards ). We all got rez'd up and then smaked the king down again, he was a joke, and got ready for queen. We were in the king room so room pops became a problem and we couldn't jump the queen when she popped. When we did jump her we got wipped. The 60 warrior went down in the first 10 seconds and it was chaos. Had to summon corpses to zone and call it a day. It was a pretty successful night. We were a pick up raid that went down and killed one prince, 2 kings and one queen. We will be back to take down the royals soon.
