I was looking around and my merc killed Grype and I didnt even notice. I thought it was some noobs corpse lying on the ground. Then when I realized he is an npc I looked back at faction hits and lo and behold I took a Legion of Cabilis and Brood of Kotiz faction hit for my merc killing him.

This NPC spawns only at night on the upper floor of the Tink 'N Babble. He is highly aggressive to those non-Iksar who overwise have good enough faction in Cabilis to be able to wander unmolested by the Crusaders and buy from the Merchants. Unfortunately a "Grype Assault" will cause The Toilmaster and Crusader Olus to attack. Beware!

This guy spawn around 10 pm game time loc is 886, -76, 17 and he give the Foot of the caddle stick look like plate btw if u use find look for crusader Olos he is right beside the building good luck

9/12/2004 12:05am PST, I gave Grype the stein that drops from the Hafling Swashbuckler and he at it. He staggered, and tears spring to his eyes. "Oh my stein of sloshing. Here take this broken shiny piece of metal. Ha! ... blah blah don't mess with the blue talons.

this guy said to me he was thirsty for some ale...so i gave him some and he kept asking for more until after 5 bottles he says "thanks for the drink here's a copper.. What did you expect HA HA HA HA!".....jerk!

I have never fought him so I do not know his fighting style. He does cast necro spells and if you take a necro faction hit I would lean towards him being a necro or at least a shadow knight. I sometimes wonder if verant had a monk/necro class in mind and never put in. The interesting thing is the motto thing, Fist and Mind, not sure if to many monks have anything to say about the mind. I wonder if Talon Southpaw had anything to do with the blue talons but asking him directly gets no response. As far as the history books go I cant seem to find any mention of the Blue Talons. Only thing I have not done is to question the necros.

He's a member of the Brood of Kotiz faction (the necros). And I don't think I realized the weight of your intro there until it happened to me. Don't even walk by the Tink 'N' Babble at night time if you're a non-lizard whatever or you've killed enough of them rogue Iksar things. Although, I must say that I was disappointed in Crusader Olus for not killing me outright with harm touch. He's slacking.
