Have a cleric merc ready. Stand behind the mob you wish to kill, and fire off your biggest one-hit attack. For example, an SK should use HT, a monk use their triple FK attack, a wizard should use his biggest nuke, and so forth.
You will die a split-second after the damage lands. Your merc should immediately begin casting res, which you accept, then click Ressurrect in the respawn window. Now you have around 35 seconds to kill the mob before it can DT again. A mana user will need to use some form of very quick mana regen, and a melee will need to use a form of endurance regen, such as Respite to get going. I managed to kill the Overseer this way as a level 88 monk. :)

I (93 Ranger) popped archery disc, Guardian of the forest, epic 2.0 click and Outrider's Attack. I then stood at max distance from him (which probably isn't important) and cast Announced Shots rk II. Overseer of Air died instantly without hitting me with the Cazic Touch. I didn't think it was going to work, but it did!

I used harmtouch on this mob as a lvl 60 SK and my merc rezzed me immediately after, accepted rez and started attacking overseer. I also had a lvl 84 enchanter with a essence carrier as a pet. overseer went down very fast. like 15 - 18 seconds fast. My harmtouch was maxed out (12/18), does 8701 dmg initially and a little over 3k a tick for 30 seconds. Estimation of HP for this mob is 18k to 22k.
After you kill this mob, Keeper of Souls spawns and roams the island. It is KOS and it doesn't hit hard but it death touches as well.

It dropped an efreeti standard,efreeti war shield and efreeti war maul for me this morning along with 2 fine steel daggers.

67 sk, 75 ranger, 75 bst, 65 war.
War ate DT, sk popped infusion and HTed for 4k, went down in 10 secs.
Max hit on sk was 720
enraged, cast spell wind spell that did 200 damage and another that did 500 damage, lifetap maybe.

My guild mini-raided here (2 groups) and we killed him in 18 seconds with 70 enchanter, 70 Necro, 70 & 68 mages, 70 SK, 70 rogue, 70 Clerics (2, 1 not in fight for rezzing possible wipe), 67 ranger, 65 and 51 druid (Well, our sacrificial druid), and 59 Monk.
Magic based landed easily on him (as opposed to any other mob to this point) and was the nuke of choice - druids used Ice based. Slowed fully, maloed, HT landed for over 8K, and it was an 18 second fight after 51 druid nuked him and died.
Waiting for Keeper of Souls now... Figure we'll see him in 30 minutes.

Have your 65 Shaman slow the mob and your 65 Paladin Chain Stun him. Have casters DOT him and he goes down quickly. Did this with 8 peeps, one of which was a 51 enchanter who we sacrificed to the first death touch.
PoP era stun spells often work very well against boss mobs from older era parts of the game.

Does anyone know if the Overseer will assist while killing the grifs/pegasus on the island? Or if we attack him, will the "horses" assist him too? Lastly, does anyone know how long he spawns for?

Yeah as Magadan said, not too tough, had 46-60 level range. He AoEs every 30 seconds or so a 200 pt unresistable spell. He quads for 300 or so when he has his weapons, we disarmed him on 2nd try, seemed to have worked.

He is also level 63 or higher a level 60 conned him and hes still red.
This guy is like Noble Djorn but 2 times as powerfull. He double hits for 800 a pop his loot is the same as Noble Dojorn.
A force of 45 level 50+ took him down and 27 of us where left standing to give you an idea on his power.
Djorn 40 peeps maybe 2-3 deaths with the same group.

Took him last nite with about 35 folks, level 50-60. Pimped him harsh, about all deaths only coming form his DT. Fight lasted maybe 1-2minutes. Once at 50 health, he was nuked, then dead in like 3 cast rounds.

We took him down with 24. But i dunno what happened really cos i LHed gosplat (60 ogre warrior) and was dead 10 second later.

Well we just took him down with 24 - only 22 actually fighting no problem. Does not take 40+ to take him out.
We had 3 clerics - one just doing rezzes, two shamans and one druid - me that was dragging corpses - so in total 4 healers.
I think we had 4 deaths.

My guild had same conditions as Magadan above
yah but look at WHEN they used 40 people. 2000. Might have fought this guy without any level 60s hell maybe they were all level 50. Bet Sky was a bish when you had to get 40 people up there in their 50s just to get to Isle 5
