Currently Farming this thing on my wizy,with Mana blaze and 9k mana he does 36k damage,I just got him parked there,log him on about every 90 mins,mana blaze one of them down,camp and repeat.Good thing if you got a bot wizy:)

hehehe guess the only trick in fighting these mobs need to have 2 tanks... 1 main and 1 DT... DT takes first agro and die and MT agro at the same time so not to get DT again... easy kill even for just 1 group these days... just need 2 tanks a rezzer and dps

At this point in the game and after all the revamps of the epic mobs and the steps taken/changed to get to all class epic mobs, this is now one of the most unrealistic and unobtainable piece for epic 1.0 in the game. They've made raid encounters for 1.5 and 2.0 easier than this.
Yes they've made the keys non no-rent and that's great BUT~
*we still need to kill the named boss on EVERY island to advance to the next one
*without a solid 2 groups there is no way to even get past isle 5 because the spiroc lord DT's as well [32k damage? give me a break already]
Sony has got to give the mages a break and seriously re-evaluate our epic 1.0. They fixed Ragefire for the clerics, they need to address this STAT. There is no way players are going to remain interested and advance further "QUESTING" if it's impossible for the non guilded to ever see their epic. This will just roll downhill as well. There will be no reason to buy expansions either.
Think about it.. please.

range on DT? is it possible to pull them near camp with a bow or long range spell or is it crazy range like the Keeper of Souls and you get hit before you can even shoot an arrow at them?
They assisted something and DT'd a few of us at the outer edge of the island.

Yes these DT about every 30 seconds and seem to have over a 12 hour respawn time.

It is irrelevent how hard these are - IF you can make it to island 8 in PoA then you can kill these no problem.

Yeah that might be sound interesting and informative but this mob is on isle 7. So if you are on isle 8 obviously you have ability to defeat these.

Well now that all depends on when you start counting the islands, if you count the island you port up to then yes it would make this island 8.
That is not how the islands are generally, in fact almost always counted.

However, they death touch. That's right, these are the only non-named npcs in the game that death touch. The novelty begins to wear off by the time you pull the seventh sphinx and have to ress two people per fight and rebuff them (we had trouble killing them before their death touch recycle - around 30 seconds or so).
They are not the only npcs that can drop the crown of elemental mastery. We got one from an undine spirit in the island. They're just very rare.

yes he drop crown of elemental mastery used for mage epic this is for the air elemental its 1 of 3 things needed to recieve "elemental of air"....gl
