Interesting Note

Last night, I was leaving Paw, and decided to kill these guys (Judges and Executioner). As I was resting up, preparing to attack them, old Kurrpok Splitpaw (or however you spell it) spawned, and the Executioner killed him. Now, for those of you who don't remember back that far, Kurrpok used to be the head of the Splitpaw Clan of gnolls (the ones that lived here back when the game came out, before the Torn-Ears overran the place, and drove them out). Kurrpok used to spawn in the room that the Ishva now spawn in. He dropped a ruby that was one of the eyes for the Jewelled Skull (a nice caster item). When the Executioner killed him, he died mumbling what he used to, way back when... "my eye, blah blah blah". Now back in the day, when you killed him, a DE Wizard (higher than anything in the zone back then - about 30th level)would spawn and demand the gem. To my knowledge, when Kurrpok died last night, the wizard did not spawn (but I don't have track). I bet if you cleared the area (Judges and Exec), when Kurrpok spawned, you could kill him and get the gem. You get the second "eye" by killing Lynguna (or whatever) in Innothule Swamp (the troll woman that you can give rubies to for one of three items-including the nice earring). I don't know if the skull dropping assassin still spawns in West Karana, but I might just have to go check soon, for old times sake. Just kinda fun to watch the Executioner kill Kurrpok. :)

Anyhow, I go to splitpaw with my 51 monk, and just check it out. On my other comp, I had EQ Atlas up for direction :) Well, while FD'd at the judges, i saw kurrpok spawn..and die..so I read up about it etc, and saw a post....(the post i'm responding to) ... Yes he did drop the ruby pendant, a runed totem staff, and some leather cap. I guess I'll try to find these other guys that you spoke about..

P.S. All I did to kill him was sneak behind exe till kurrpok spawned, second he spawned, i got exe's agro on me, and killed kurrpok. No wizard, sorry...maybe I should go check the room he now spawn for the wizzy :)

Does this guy get a two bladed axe or a sythe? And wouldn't it look neat for one of theses things to kill'n a gnoll or a human?
