not that it matters, but to the person who said RGC is a luclin spell, how is that possible when i am pretty sure naddox and gunthak are not luclin zones, and the quest to get RGC starts in gunthak, so how can it be a luclin spell if you don't have to go to a luclin zone to get it?

To my knowledge (and allakhazam's) there is no quest to obtain Remove Greater Curse, in Gunthak nor anywhere else.
If there is one, please let us know what it is.

It was originally obtained by killing what used to be raid mobs in SSRA,.
When LDoN launched, this spell was also buyable with adventure points.
The spell became craftable by researchers somewhere between SS and UF expansions.
Before about level 70, unless you are in an oldschool progression guild or just in love with LDoN's, you will simply not need this spell...especially since merc clerics have it.

does this not drop remove greater curse?? under rgc it says it does.. but its not listed under tolapumj.. am i wasteing my time camping this??

Remove Greater Curse is a Luclin spell, so no, neither of of these drop it.
I was able to single pull this mob from amidst it's group of jugg protectors today using Nullify Magic. Easy kill for a 65 bst with 142aa and OoW raid gear.

I went down to see if trak was up with my 64 monk and Trak wasn't up. I was fully buffed with shammy buffs but no Virt or Strength as it was dispelled on the way down. I decided to try and solo Tolapmuj. At first I just killed his pet and hit FD. He went back to spawn and I bandaged to full for another go. This time he ate me with his Damage shield and rune. I searched my gear and found a dispell device. After dropping Tola's buffs i proceeded to wack at him in a long battle using my innerflame, stonestance, and thunderkick disciplines. He got me to 2% and I tried to FD, but his charm landed and broke my FD. I was charmed and my hpts shot to about 20%. His hpts were at 12% and when charm broke I finally killed him for a nice robe. Woot, exciting!

This mob is suprisingly easy. With my 65 monk I split the Juggs that were by him killed them and finally got him alone. I took him out with no real problems.

lol i kill tolapumj and seb protector everyday as an sk, fd down there with ease, the juggs DO NOT aggro with Tolapumj, so your waisting your time splitting the juggs near him, seb protector is a diff story.

Yard trash for a lvl 65 group. I had a 65 enc/65 sk/65 clr (me)/55 war.. I dont even think I had to heal 1 time. Got to him with no problem, slowed him, sk sicked pet on his pet, and commenced to stompin. Dropped robe/divine intervention!!! I was happy to see the spell drop, was my last spell I need. Took about 2 mins for us 4 to drop him. It was fun, and saving 50k for a spell is always awesome!

Even with 20 people and 5 pets unloading on him, he still managed to gate on us, luckily we had everything else cleared out, so we just went to his spawn point and finished him off. triples for 230ish, don't all you chanters wish you could hit like that? hehe
As for the robe, which I was lucky enough to win, the 10 int and 50 mana sure is nice, and as to the Haste? Too bad it doesn't work on casting time :)

Tolapumj is right outside trak's lair with 2 sebilite juggernot friends and roaming juggernots.
Tolapumj is lvl 60 enchanter frog, and without 2+ groups you might have a decent problem with his enchanter spells before you drop him. If you are lucky you will get robe, I consider the rest of his loot largely worthless except maybe spells. I guess cap is ok but the ac is so low it's just a toy... you wouldn't use it on a regular basis.

Ever heard of this one: Monks are MADE NOT to need armor half as much as any other class.
Monk is high dmg low defense, while Warrior, the monk's antithesis is high defence low dmg.
Saying there's not enough Monk armor is like saying there aren't enough Warrior spells. Or high dmg caster weapons.

theres some pretty nice caster weapons with decent ratios.. oddly.. but warriors casting lev is just wrong.
anyway, lots of debate over taunt weapons, some say certain weapons work better than others, just try out different ones and see what seems to hold agro better, then go post your newfound knowledge on steel warrior.
btw monk pull + lag = broke FD.. and your monk better have decent AC because their HP isnt naturally the same as warriors, AC is what they have to rely on to get back up and last to try another FD.

uhhh having a warr with HIGH damage = more taunt = somethhing more desireable dont get me wrong they arent there for DAM output but u DO want them with a nice taunting weap (though lately pretty much half of the aggro comes offa procs ;p)

but hitting really hard with a really low weapon (like PoWater sword), while giving a good to very good dps, gives less agro than doing roughly the same dps with fast weapons

You have clearly never played a caster running around in places like upper guk or sol a, a caster has to waste valuable mana killing lowly green trash. With this weapon a level 50+ caster could actually melee kill greens in the level 20 to 35 range, especially with a haste item. That is about the only possible use for this item, but a use nonetheless.

why waste mana on greens when my animation quads in the 50s along with bash. have seen it kick once but i think that was a bug. lets see ... 216 damage per round plus a bash max of 54 is 270 per round max. plus added in feedback. most little greenies you mention wont last very long against that. granted those are max damages ratios but when you are 35-45 lvls higher than that annoying greenie that just has to suicide its not going to have alot of ac vs your pet. at lvl 59 my pet is still light blue to me so im guessing its in low 40s. not to bad. and if you can dc something in the zone thats even better. anyway on the subject of this weapon a friend of mine has one and i have used it. my melee skills are maxed and still miss 2 out of 3 times with it. yess offese is maxed also. in seb or something im missing like 6 out of 10 times. meven if im oom the damge id do with this wont amount to what i could do with 1 nuke from meding for less than 1 minute

this should be a monk robe! itd be like a haste sash with good ac for a monk really, the int and mana really wouldnt matter...but then again this robe probly costs out the whazoo so i guess im screwed either way.

you are missing the other stats +10 int is not bad
