Lol sure ya guys Killed the sleeper maybe ya killed all the wardens but you Probly Died against the sleeper, and why the Hell do you have the Sleeper on THis Anyways? THis is about Trakanon Sheesh and Probly you are on some Low End Guild claiming that they killed the sleeper just to get a lil attention

Posted: Dec 11 2001 at 10:18 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Heh was just reading on traks loots im a lil curious gorge but any who i saw many confirms Sleeper got killed on nameless thas a bunch of grade a BS, they failed on that attempt any way on Tholuxe Palls (my guild ) Interpid (not shure how many tons dun go to website but the website said 389 and thats bout the 25% of the guild that gooes there. any way we killed sleeper sadly i did not survive long enough and seeing how it was a "School nite" i had to get off before any where abouts on loot got rezd /ex think they were still alphaing on it :S any way havnt been on since thanks luclin patchs that lags us all to H** and back. any way just my 2 copper.

i've been three times. all with 257 sv poison. first 2 times i lived. i have only resisted it twice, probably been hit 7 times. was lvl 58 at the time, level counts too. so to answer your question 250sv poison minimum IMO.

Just something on the Kunark BPs that Trak drops. There's basically 3 things to do to get your Kunark BP.
1- You go on the raid to kill Trak, and hopefully not die, this is the easy part.
2- You pray that he even drops your classes BP. There's a 1 out of 9 chance that he even drops your BP, since it's pretty much random. This is the 2nd hardest part.
3- Now if he DID drop your classes BP, you get to do alpha roll on it, this is THE hardest part imho.
GL all.

Thats 1500 dmg every minute so even a tank with 6000 hp would die in about 3.5 minutes casters would go down alot quick so you better have very good poisen resists.

On our guilds last Trak kill there was a shoulder item dropped called Undead Sinew. So far have found nothing on it and I see it is not listed in his loot.

Trak is NOWHERE near the hardest dragon in the game. That honor goes to the dragons in the Templw of Veeshan I know from Experiance. It took my guild hours to clear it out and about 1/2 hour to fight the big cheese who is lvl 75. Forgot his nam though

The sleeper is not a Dragon. the 60th lvl wizard dragon bane will not land on him. Lure of ice does hit though.

Actually the hardest dragon in the game is the Sleeper (he has another name but i cant remeber it) in Sleepers Tomb. He has not been killed on any server yet, and he is believed to be totally unkillable (rumor is a EQ representive confirmed this)

Legacy of Steel & Shock of Swords combined forces on NAMELESS in late November and KILLED the Sleeper. The Sleeper killed MASS numbers of peoples, but in the end was overpowered... Would have loved to have seent he fight but alas belong to neither Guild and with the vast numbers of bodies lying scattered about am glad I didnt feel Sleeper's rage...

There is no server where the sleeper has been killed, he is unkillable!
After his release from Thomb he rumours around in SS and then he disappears to a Zone which is not created till yet and maybe never will be.

He cannot be killed, at the FanFaire GM's showed patrons Kerafym targetted while they slammed their Death Touch hotkey.
I.E not killable.
Oh and LoS have already said that Kerafym will not be killed.....must be fun to lie like that.

I love the people who post here, I truly do. Everyone has an opinion and everyone is unbending on that opinion.
Many people seem to forget where they came from. I'm sure you just signed on to your EQ account that very first and knew everything. The term "noob" is not only tacky and moronic, it is also a sign that you have no idea what one is.
Then there's the rash of people who seem to enforce their "perfection of the English Language" on this site. Guess it never occured to them that there might be people from other countries playing this game (I don't think I read anywhere that this is an a game for "United States Citizens and their English speaking cousins only" anywhere in the TOA) and that those people might access the site, and may not have your Stephen Hawking type grasp on American thought, culture and literature. Better yet, they may just be younger players. There are many kids who play this game as well as adults. There is also the occassional typo, but then again, if you think your ***** smells like a Calvin Klein fragrance, you probably wouldn't figure that out either.
But my all time favorite type of person playing this game, is the one who either exaggerates stories, tries to take advantage of people, or above all else, know that they are, without a doubt absolutely right all the time and heaven forbid you make a mistake around them.
I can just envision these people in real life... still getting off on the latest issue of "Cosmo" while throwing a wet towel under their door and smoking Marlboros out their bedroom windows under a blacklight poster of J-Lo.
Thanks for the entertainment and laughs, I'm sure someone out there has already picked up his poison pen of hate and began clicking on the respond link. Go nutty!

I love english majors. They rip on the rest of us who actually have taken a major that is worth something. I personally like making stupid gammer and spelling mistakes, just for this reason. I like to hear them whine, then make them realize that most of the English majors that are around do things like.........oh, being a secretary to the Science majors or business majors. I choose Biology as my major and chemistry as my minor, just because I want to learn something of value beyond the books I read and the opinionated papers I write. So what if I can't conjugate a 50 word sentence in 10 seconds flat. What I can do is map out what all the differnet Biochemical build up's and break downs of the Human body, and understand how you can improve your health. You tell me what's more important. Infact, now that I think about it, all I really like to know is how long those guys that complain about grammer and spelling, proof read their posts.

While I'll agree that yes, people who's first language is not English play the came, there is a difference between a few typos and illegibility. I was quite interested in what the poster had to say (I'd never considered that Luclin might hold key to defeating Sleeper, tho IMHO its still just a bugged thing) I could barely read most of it. Sure, some people are in a rush, and sure some people can't speak English (er, fluently, i mean), but looking at the mistakes its mostly words running into each other and misspellings... where as I would expect inconsistant grammar from someone who isn't the perfect English speaker more than anything else.

Trak - 65 level yep. Resist for Magic is HIGH - Tash his *** and it aint a problem.
Next, sacrifice someone to take the AE poison for the first blast then tank the ***** till its dead. If your casters get in the attack, make sure they do it after the first AE.
I would recommend keeping them in the far back corner - NOT SITTING DOWN (casters that is) and have only one tank near where he spawns (maybe keep folks back near the bridge till first AE). once the AE hits, call in the rest of your tanks.
5 groups, 55+ take him out pretty fast.
Oh, Poison resist is more of a level thing. The 210 resist still gets your *** handed to you

Seems that Trak now has an AoE blindness attack now as well as his normal poison attack. This blindness might check against poison as everytime i failed my poison check, i went blind too. If i resisted poison, i didnt go blind.

Does anyone know any good websites that give a strategy for taking Trakanon down?
How many people are required? What levels? Is he really a level 65? I have heard he is very poison and magic resistant, but his weakness is cold and fire.
And he poisons the heck outta people. Would someone post any links to strategy websites here? I keep looking for them but don't find anything useful.

His AoE range is sick! I was near the bridge and when the pallys and tanks charged in...off went his AoE and POW! 1200hp dmg from his AoE! I has 210 PR too. Granted I was only lvl 53 but damn! Whats sad is a lvl 53 Mage can go into lavastorm and cast a fire DD on a little ole lvl 5 fire gobby and it gets resisted...lol. Sad

well trak is not hard at all we mercs killed it in less than 20 secs on teris thule server and will farm him from now on
just bum rush him and its no problem he will be daed before your casters come in range 8)
