I'm curious about the factions on this thing. If he *is* with the Ring of Scale, as the medallion conversation with the ghost iksar would suggest (from what I've seen on quest section of AllaKhazam's website, anyway; i haven't talked with him myself), then, my lvl 29 shaman could go and sit at his feet and have tea with him. Assuming of course, that I could get into the zone that he's in and nothing else there killed me. ;P I've killed so many goblins and icy orcs that I don't even go up with Ring of Scale anymore. Anyone know anything about this? Just curious....

Traks teeth are great, with a lifetap of 1500dmg, 1 charge, he drops every effect bp, and i have yet to see tolans darkwood drop, if you die near him, you have minimal chance of gettin gyour corpse back, just wear crappier armor and weapons, i mean the tanks arent there to actually do dmg, they there to tankin, let the wizards blast him. And btw, khaak, the server of rallos zek could care less as how many times he died on there, we have probably killed the gods more then any server, for the past week, liek 20 guilds on our server have done nothing but plane runs.
Considering that the gods have respawn times of 7 days, I'm guessing that all those guilds running around managed, collectively, to kill each of the gods exactly...once. :P
(And yes, I don't mind replying to a nine-year-old post. It's never too late to rectify ignorance, especially that pertaining to the glory days of EQ.)

Furor said on FoH's message boards that they've killed him 3 times. He also said the last time they did it, the only things he dropped were teeth.

It is official. The god/dragon Trakanon has been killed...............twice! It has happened on the Veeshan server thanks to the guild Fires of Heaven. They have screen shots of the fallen undead lizard AND of some of their members wearing the loot.
I can't remember the URL for their website so you will just have to go to http://www.everlore.com, check the bestiary for trakanon, and go to the fifth page. Someone from the FoH has a post with a few URL's to check out. Most impressive!

The problem with that plan is getting together the 75 atleast 50 plus paly,sk,clerics,and necros all on at the same time to carry out your plan, and then how do you decide loot order?
are you gonna use random 1 to 1000 to insure no duplication of numbers? The plan is nice sounding, but highly unfeasible.

Is it just me, or does them makin Trakanon undead give him a MONSEROUS disadvantage? Just pile 50 clerics and a bunch of pallys with ghoulbane in there, shouldnt be any problem, right? Now I have only encountered Nagafen, not vox nor Trakanon, but I would think that necros, SK's, clerics and pallys, around 75 players total should be able to take him out.

About that lore page; that paticular peice of lore was passed out in beta testing, and the prophecy described is a pretty good description of the massive PvP event at the end of beta (the war of the gods). So this means that trakky was killed in beta (not really killed, as kunark was not even being built yet, but in game lore killed) and that would explain why the gostly emperor says he's undead.

I believe it, although their are seven dragons in Veeshan's peak, Hoshkar being a shaman and Silverwing being an enchanter. ;p

I was talking to some friends while online, and suddenly I get a "HOLY ****" tell. I asked what was wrong and my friend told me that while pulling Sebilite Juggernaughts in Sebilis, Trakanon had gotten mad at them. Anyway, those that managed to gate out died from the DoT. He clawed for 630 and was a nasty *******. Just my 2cp, take care folks.

His AoE breath spell I have no clue how much damage it did but it does more than 1500 hp that's what I have...we got him down to abut 45% health with my whole guild and 5 others all about 51+ yes we did have lvl 60 and yes he did con red to him

Right - I've heard on from good sources that this big scaly brute cons red to a level 60 - this means he's above level 60, right? I belive verant once said he's a level 65.. And kinda mentioned in the RoK manual - He's the dragon that destroyed old sebilis and freed the original iksar from slavery (not deliberately) and he's also mentioned in a super-quest - the high lord of cabalis wants him dead :-)
Trakanon did destroy Sebilis but the Iksar where not slaves there it was there capital the only time the iksar where enslaved is when the Shissir(hurg man i have some post to change though they where named the Shisar) ruled Kunark and that was ended when they anguered their ghow god whit pact whit other powers. so he whiped them of from the face of the earth. it is mensioned somewhere that some might have fled to Luclin the hidden moon but i cant be certain of that. well the history lesson is over go back to discussing important stuff like how much hp and how damage this guy can dish out.
The Shissar did flee to Luclin. The presently rest in Shezzaira (Jeez I can't spell) Temple.
