Blades of Law and Inverse Logic on povar had this guy to half the t in the first letter in trakanon and he gated then summoned our clerics one by one and well it wasnt pretty. i had to log so my corpse still down there hehe.

I even gave him the advantage of me going in butt *** naked with no weapons and punching him to death. Easy fight. Dropped tolans bp, mrylokers bp, and Primal Velium Warsword.

I was in a Trakanon raid and as soon as Trak came!
everyone got a little message,
LOADING, PLEASE WAIT.
(I was like "Huh?")The hole Guild was gone in under a minute and there was a total of about 95 of us when we started, but i think like 3 had to log. But anyway the point is, a whole 4 hours of setting up for this raid just to die in under 1 minute =( Lol

haha.. 95 of you and still didnt take him down?? Thats gotta be the BIGGEST NEWB ZERG BUM RUSH ever, even without suceeding. jeeesss... you must of had your main tanks in Crafted, Ro, and Lambent type armor. Sigh.. 95 people killed. Are his guts (needed for bard epic) no drop? If not, does anyone have an idea what they usually go for? (okay, I wouldn't sell them if I had them, but perhaps someone else does...)
I only have to say that I agree - any mob that requires around 30 people to kill it should drop more than one item. Just my two coppers.

hey my guild killed trak last night on fenin ro server he droped a "veeshan scaled tunic" it is a very oober cleric warrior rogue only tunic 32ac 15 str 15 wis 15 agi 50 hp 10 all saves and 40 cold and poison save! i was lucky enough to get this awarded to me i had a charred gardian bp on at lvl 54 so i think i deserve it

First off I do not think this item exists anymore, it says that it is LESS rare than all of the breastplates he drops, which is ****. I have never heard of anyone getting the Bo Stick, and the price on that is wrong, the Bo Stick is PRICELESS, if you sold it everyone would curse you out and do horrible things to you...But I just wanted to say, that I do not think it drops any longer

I can confirm that this Bo still exists, maybe not a drop anymore but there is a 58 monk on the terris-thule server who caries one. Needless to say he is a bad bad man. I dont know if he aquired it through buying or looting but ill ask him and get back on that one.

Lets just think here, Trakanon is the final quest mob for Veeshans Peark key, well damn if you have to kill this guy just to even get in that damn zone, think about what dragons live in VP, recently on my server(Tholuxe Paells), the very first VP raid occured and the raiders killed Silverwing, very nasty dragon that would make Trakanon look like cake, so before you go posting about how easy/hard this mob is, just remember hes only a keyholder to mobs 5 times harder.

Ok, for a minute, ignore my idiotic previous post on this board "Trak's a Punanny" and clear something up for me. If Trak is undead, couldn't a level 60 cleric go in there, cast the Undead DT spell that costs a star ruby and kill Trak solo? I'm just curious b/c if he is undead, why hasn't anyone tried this, I'm sure someone somewhere would have realized this and attempted it. Of course, I could be wrong in thinking that Trak is undead and that would make my post useless. I'd really appreciate any information regarding my "theory." Thanks.

Actually you may not cast Disintigrate on Trakanon, he is lvl 65, you may only cast it on those that are 56 or lower

This information comes from FoH's web page and from the official response from Verant to Conquest's incident. I'd post links but too lazy, maybe later.
Kerafrym, The Sleeper, has not been killed by any guild at the Current time. FoH managed to kill the 4 warders and thus spawn Kerafrym. FoH states that their logs show the following: Kerafrym Mele's for 1900's, FoH beat down about 2% of the dragons life before wipe out, The dragon is calculated to have about 1 billion (1,000,000,000) HP's.
Conquest did not kill Kerafrym, They were using an exploit to defeat the warders and had no intention of engaging the Sleeper. During the battle with the 4'th Warder a GM (or GM's) Spawnd Kerafrym in an attempt to stop the exploit, which it did.
Conquest was using an exploit. when you log on to everquest you agree that any bug found is to be reported not abused. failure in this matter is a bannable offense. If you know anything about programming you know that there will be bugs in your software, it's impossible to code everything perfectly. So give verant a break. The GM's did the right thing by intervining during Conquest's exploit of this bug. It would have severely cheapened the experience of this game to have the single most deadly openent in the game killed for the first time because of a bug.

Jesus people, this is Trak, not Sleeper. Keep the comments on it, not that "FoH did this" or "AoD did that" I could care less what propaganda is spread about other guilds, I look for information on the monster, not a "Who's bigger guild" info session, or about bug exploitation.

My guild BARLLy took him down and there had to be like 30 lvl 55+ that went there (even though i think thats is a litte low) out for them only 3 survied to lott him i wasnt there cause i was only 30 at the time. And tunare has not been killed to anyone knowledge, I think Avatar of Discord on Rodcet have gotten the closest to killing Tunare, and they still wiped.
You are right though, sleeper is probably 75. so are some of the dragons DEEP in ToV. but the warder's are 65 or so.

This is all from Conquest's report when they "faced off" against him ;) Keep in mind NPCs can have as many charmed pets as they want, so he could have half your raid charmed and thus his damage output is even higher =) I'd put the sleeper at the top of my list. =)

here is my theory or opinion if you dn't like it tough but as many raids has me been on the groups are uneven all the time my way of thinking is have 2 tanks 2 clerics mage wizard per group in normal RPG standers that what a group is or 3tanks 2clerics and a wizard or a mage, creat those type of groups as much as you can then have spares of casters to each side with of course your spare clerics but get as many mages as possable cause that means more tanks and which also means it distracts the sleeper from hitting the accual people so mages just concentrat on the pets. yes necros for the DoTs but i am not thinking of haveing necros in there, see when people think of how tough the mob is look at what they have in there groups they completely rely on how hard this sleeper is. i am pretty damn sure he is one tough **** but its all in groups you need clerics and mages all to hell plus notice that mages are mostly ignored in these type of things. more tanks =Better chances,,,, tanks clerics wizards and mages is what i think what you need but alot of mages along with clerics, you could have like pfft lets say about 20 tanks with this dude 10-15 or + mages with there pets that is a extra 15 tanks right there but like i said this is just a theory most may not agree with my way of planing but.............oh well =)

Try looking at the three lores that describe the meeting of an elf and trak, the founding of the troll empire, and how miragul became a lich, and you should piece together my theory, if you still can't figure it out check the sleeper bestiary page. I recommend the first option cuz you might find something I didn't but please post replies and comments and even flames as many of any as possible so I can know what my theory is thought of by you.

p.s. I agree with the other post about banning together, and not letting verant push us around. Guys we will have more power now that AO is out...a lot of people will be dropping from everquest to play AO, and that will mean lost dollars for verant, which inturn will mean that verant will be more concerned with keeping the palyers it has....so use the feedback comand and email them!!! Makes no freaking sense for this guy to have all the class specific armor (which by the way is not even the best armor anymore)and he not spawn but 1 time a week and then he might not even drop a BP. Ok im a lvl 51 Wiz...and I would have nightmares about fighting something like this. This guy seems rough. I would stay far far far away unless i have a group of 20 or so...even then, this guy looks like he could rip me a new one. Jesus, I'll just spend the rest of my old Wizard days down by the docks, at the hidden inn. If anyone on the Tunare server wants to meet...I'll be there. I have a full set of fear gear, along with the "Ice Comet" - "Perhaps today is a good day to die"

Conquest didnt kill the sleeper, they didnt even kill the fourth warder to wake the sleeper, that was done 'accidentally' by a GM.
