I can confirm this. Was attacked last night by this guy, the doggy conned blue to my partner (25 Ranger) and was not a tough take down. Clearly the pet has been reduced.
Gorelik still conned red to me (29) and hits hard and fast. He may have been lowered in level too, but is still higher than 32 because he came back for more when I got up after feign.
Conned yellow to a lvl 26 enchanter tonight, so we could have gotten a weak spawn. I was able to enthrall(119 cha, with sympathetic aura) without tash without any problems, but that's more or less expected.
As for his master... I was able to land Strip Enchantment(1st cast), and Tepid Deeds(5th cast), after Tashani. Then he promptly killed our cleric, me, and most of the two groups that we had there before they could evac(gate/runaway/hide/flee... whatever you want to call it), but that's more or less expected too.
They both need to be hit by magical weapons, but if you don't have one by the level you go to take these things on, something's wrong with you.
My group of lvl 25 wizzie, shaman, 1rang, 1sk, me (necro), and a druid were pulling some warriors from down there this puppie came up yelpin beating the crap outta our tanks. The wizard did some nice damage and aggroed him his full health went to a single bub in seconds. I managed to get him aggroed to me and than the druid rooted, on and on caster takes the pet tanks get the tanks. If this was the pet I'd hate to see the lord who created it.
while camping the sarnak fort near FM zone we kept on being randomly ( every 30minutes to 1 hour ) attacked by this dog. i reccomend haveing a few friend to assist if you are soloing this area for sarnaks as the mutt has a vicious bite.
Last night I was exploring the goblin caverns and "doing pennance" in improve my faction in Firiona Vae. When suddenly I found myself under attack by Lord Gorelik and his pet. I have never been so glad to have a high AC and to have fully buffed & equiped my pet to pick on some greens for faction. I now have a new respect for Shamen pets, even though it was hitting me only 15% of the time it still took off over 200 hps from my health. Fortunately NPC shamen pets are still low in hit points and one Shock of Swords put it out of my misery. I got a nice staff out of it.
He was killed by a full group of 20-24 (mostly lvl 22s) so he's not that hard. He was wandering the zone from what I can gather, we were camping outside the mines and he wandered back into us. No sign of his master though, fortunately.
