At level 30 I found myself wandering about kunark... I stole within the fortress and took a peek at the chancellor, went up on the walls and massacred what conscripts and recruits were not green, and enjoyed myself to some extent. The recruits dropped nothing in all that time of any particular merit.
In the valley, however, behind the bridge (I guess this is the back entrance to the fortress) I discovered a Gem Oracle walking among the recruits outside. He was crawling along the wall at the point I was able to single him out. Not an overly difficult fight, though my double sword pet nearly died from DoT, and on my first kill he dropped the sarnak ceremonial dagger. A PBB for your ranged slot basically.
I wasn't expecting him outside, but there he was. He rooted by several times, but was himself rooted and facing my pet. He enjoyed DoT usage, but ultimately he fell to me well. Easily interrupted not only by my stunning attacks, but several times by my pet (using Augmentation.) Slow him down (tepid deeps), root him (root, not enstill), he'll cast on you soon enough getting your (enchanter) pet involved, and then DoT, nuke nuke nuke nuke. I hope to find him around more often.

I'm happy to say that the sarnak gem oracle will--rarely--spawn in one of the spots normally reserved for the recruits that pop right outside the back entrance to the fortress. Had this happen once last night. He wasn't particularly difficult to take down with (let's see...) three paladins, a ranger, a wizard, and a cleric, all between 23rd and 26th level. Elapsed time, approximately 45 seconds.
I get a real kick out of the fortress, by the way. Nice and creepy. Too bad the pathing's so god-awful. Too many revenants and legionnaires trying to cram themselves into walls...

I saw this guy on track and wondered what it was so i went to him and he was holding a Ketcha Koro mis or something like that so i looted it with awful stats. i think the stats were 2hb 10/40.

Yeah I did it at 29. Had slighty sub-par equip for my level. Was weilding a SSoM, and something else. Not this Icy Blade I use now (AWSOME WEAPON), might have been a 1hs silvery war axe.

He kept conning blue every time he spawned in the 10 minutes of camping he spawned three times hehe so i'd say his min level is 26 or 27

We kill this guy whenever we seee him due to good exp, he usually drops just coin, but ONE time i looted a sarnak emblazaned tabard off him, made 300pp off of it too, not bad for a level 30 mob right :-) the tabard was AC14 hp10 svmagic 10, and was usable by everyone but casters, seemed to be a pretty good monk piece although it was kinda heavy. weighed 6

Our group killed one of these and it dropped the Sarnak Cermonial Dagger. Crappy weapon (6/38) but who cares about that, it goes in the range slot and gives +3 int, +3 wis. Just don't throw it!

ever sarnak in fort (cept recruits) has a chance of dropping strange wep. very rare hve spent 3 lvl here and have seen 10 things if you want then i suggest going deeper into the fort for less recruits.

He spawns in 2 places, that i have seen and killed them. 1 at the Front Door of the Sarnak Fort. he spawnd on the right side of maine Gate.
And at the frist Tower before u get 2 the Back door, with the bridge.

I know the skull helm drops from the adherents, and it is one of two skulls needed for an Iksar Shaman quest. One person has reported getting a skull helm from an oracle. It may be the one we've been looking for...should ID as Skull of Dai or something. Please report if you find one and ID it.

I always /shout loc + description of where when the skull drops (I'm a warrior, it's SHM/ALL I think). Actually got a few thanks for doing so. Do the same thing for tatooed heads.

Ok, my group just got done whooping the crap out of this guy. I have no clue what he drops, how good the coin is, or the exp. Cause once he was almost dead, he disappeard. We didn't get jack-ola. Does this happen often?

I was sitting by the windmill in the Lake zone healing when a Sarnak Gem Oracle started hitting me. It was blue to me at 28. I believe he has Shaman type spells. I got hit with root, a poison DoT, and a ice based DD.

I actually got one of those today (group rolled for it and I managed to win), but I don't think it came off of a Gem Oracle (not completely sure about that though). The claws are pretty good, although its a shame I can't use them (I'm a shaman).

The gem is for the shackle of scale quest, you get a nice 9 ac bracer for it, you also need a broken skeleton key and some other thing which i can't remember

Out of three killed tonight, all dropped the gem, which I think is for the monk shackle of scale. One dropped a Sarnak Emblazened Tabard (ac12 +10vs magic +10hp) and one dropped a Sarnak Ceremonial Dagger (6/38 +3int +3wis)
