He STILL looks like a human (atleast on rz) i went over there for a day, joined with group of 50's, and i lost the betl to a 100 :( (im a level 35 ranger, im suprised i got to roll).

The HANGMAN is now a giant maneating flower. It prob has a placeholder around the zone. I got lucky and found him on track. He's a roamer. Run almost as fast as SOW. Conned yellow to our lvl 48 Mage. Loot is the HANGMAN NOSE AC5 HASTE melee class only NODROP, so you can't trade it. Too bad I lost the role for it.

Oops it's not a dungeon, heh...but can anyone tell me where he spawns? And is the Noose common or not?

The hangman drops the noose every single time hes up. His place holder is Froglok Forager who spawns random around the zone. Instant spawn time, so better have a good group. Sometimes forager is in 'stuck' spot somewhere around the zone wall, not sure where. But will not move from there, so you gotta kill him there if one spawns there. Hangman is a VERY VERY rare spawn, hence why he drops it every time. I just got mine today (woot!) And it only took me a week LOL :P

What kind of group would ya need to get this Hangman's Noose, and how far in the dungeon is he? I'm real interested in it, thanks for info in advance.

The noose can be worn in the head slot or the waist and grants haste and 5AC.

When we killed the Hangman a few days ago on the Rathe server, he conned red to the highest level of us, who was 44.

Hangman's Noose has the effect of Haste when worn. It won't give the Haste effect until you are a certain level.
Effect: haste starts at lvl 1, its kinda like a stat attribute not a spell. Sash starts at 1 so does this, although its nearly impossible to get this at lvl 1. This is not a twinkable item, get this when you are high lvl or you'll just frustrate yourself. If it was droppable i'm sure there would be a lot more trakanons teeth farmers, least verant did something right on this haste item.
sash of the dragonborn is also very good and not very hard to get as well. Farm some charasis keys then bring a good group to crypt spectre camp. uncommon is golden bracer and rare is sash of the dragonborn. SoDB is 2ac 30% haste and tradeable, so if you have the means, you might as well. This hangman is just too rare to bother. You could get 5-6 fbss in the time it would take to get one of these.
Just wanting to let everyone know. I would rather have noose than fbss for my monk as well, but its just too rare. Just get a fbss or SoDB and be happy.

Heh camped frogland for 28 straight hours and got 1 fbss drop and 8000 moonstone rings. Would rather camp this since there are 24 other rare named mobs that can pop many of which have good drops
