The earring is stupidly hard to get. Seriously. I've been camping it for hours and all I'm getting is lame gloves. I find that the Goblin Fort is a good spot to spawn Grachnist. Keep it cleaned up every pop, I guess it'll help. I have a druid for track and it's probably a good idea to check the other goblin spawn areas to make sure he's not up there also.
Location /Loc is Located at: 2883.80, -85.94, -16.35 is the approximate location i am right now. Clear all the goblins in that area.

This named Goblin is found in the goblin fort in Warsliks woods and also in at least two of the goblin-infested ruins in the same zone. His gloves really are quite nice. Grachnist soaks up a lot of damage for his level.

this dang earring is a pain 2 get..... idk how many i killed but i camped the thing for about 5 hrs then i finally got it.... good luck 2 anyone else that trys 2 get it =)

ive sold about 14 earrings or so. drops about 1 in 25 or more. ive had so much as 2 spawns in the same building at the same time drop earrings. if u cant get one just wait for the fabled to come around and get a fabled gob earring. drops every time and chance to get normal earring on fabled as well. not much harder than normal grachnist and the spawn rate is about 1 in 5 normal grachnist.

this mob is annoying 186 kills and he hasnt dropped it and yes ive kept track up till 187 so i gave up

Heading through goblin camp to kill iskars for faction, he was up, killed him, got earring. Came back, four of him were up in the camp at once, killed them all and just gloves...
There he was at the zoneline all alone and waiting. I was there to forage for my ikkie since his sucks lol. DB to 34 druid. Drones of Doom, Creeping Crud, and Immolate to 30% then nuked him down. Dropped Iksar gloves and words of radiance.

went with a friend to find this guy and get his earring, spawned him about 4 times in the first 45mins or an hour, got both of our earrings in that time *shrugs*

I have camped him 2 x 6-10 hrs for myself and 1 alt.
There were times when I had 3-6 of him on track and no earring to be seen.
If he drops anything else worthwhile I probably did not notice
since I had tunnel-vision on the shrunken goblin skull earring.

I've killed grachy I dunno how many times, but I have had and either sold or gave away the earring 20+times. if you wanna see rare, try camping the invis to animals ring that drops in Loio. that's fun. have got that 3 times in almost the same amount of time I camped grachnist

WTF why is this earing so rare youed think that after all these expansions they would update it to be common drop its even more rare than PoP rare items i mean cmon i have killed over 100 of this guy in about 7 hours and now he is spawning every 4 or 5 fort wipes and he has NEVER dropped anything but those cloves and some gems and stuff this is TOTALY not worth the time unless you get it like right when you see and kill the named, if you are there for more than an hour i recomend you leave!
Its rare because ts a 10k item that drops off of a lvl 30 mob. They cant make it common! then that place would be camped all day. You see SoE has a thing about not letting anyone below lvl 60 make any money. Just learn to live with it. I have. SoE might eventually make it so its possible to make money for people below lvl 60 but i dont think thatll be very soon
There are some stationary goblins when you zone in from FOB, immediatly on right you see a goblin ( usually a battlemaster or a warrior,loc 1601,-3780 is the area). The other that the Destroyer ocupied is a little South West form that spot and it may have a PH, I killed 2 witchdoctors then a higher level soothsayer and left zone for about 1 hour returned to see that the destroyer was there. As a level 24 Shaman he may still be there! Hope this helps someone.

I have been camping this guy on and off for a few days now. I have killed him about 40-50 times now and he has never dropped one earring. I don't see how it is this rare given the price on it. If you have to spend more than a week to get it then it's worth a bunch more than like 7k...

Very easy plat for such a stupid simple camp. Mob can spawn anywhere other gobbies do. I have had instances after a camp wipe one would spawn.. killed him and another would spawn.

ok dude you are soooooooooo lucky! lol. I spent 17 hours wiping out the entire fortress. from 6am-11pm. I killed Grachnist the destroyer 47 times and you can ask my guild i was goin crazy! lol he finally dropped it on the 47th kill. but 7 kills! YOU LUCKY!

It depends on what your equipment is. You dont need very good stuff to beat him but if your useing rusty 2hser u cant beat him. But a lvl 36 SK could prolly beat him badly. And if not jsut use Harm Touch either way your good.

took me an hour to find the dude, dropped him easy with a 47 warrior, iksar scaled gloves and his head
dropped him three more times, iksar scaled gloves both times.. about three hours he popped 4 times never dropped earring. Very long and boring camp. I didn't have a tracker so i had to run around which was a pain. Better than camping Crusader Zoglic

I don't think you are camping him properly if you only saw him 4 times in three hours and you think you need a tracker. You can get 1-3 Grachnist pops per clearing of the goblin fort. Respawn is 17 minutes, so you can easily see 6-8 Grachnist an hour, with maybe 1 in 10 having an earring.

Killed this guy for about 7 hours tonight, managed to kill him roughly 35 times. Allways dropped the gloves, sometimes dropped his head, but never dropped any of the other items reported here.

I camped this guy last night for about 2 1/2 hours, got him to pop about 15 times. You can get multiples to pop at the same time, it is completely random. As always, dropped gloves each time, whip 2 times, and head 2 times. Got my earring, and got the heck out. BORING!

So far, as a 42 rng i have spent a total of 12 hours in the past two days, sadly no earing, so many gloves am sick of seein em, and one hat. But anyway, i will try, try, try again. For what i know i have a tracking of 200, simple to say, i have found at least 5 different spots that he spawns OUTSIDE of the fort. What i do is i get him to pop at least4 of the spots outside the fort, leave him alone, go and wipe out the fort, and if you are lucky he will spawn 2 times in the fort, makin it easy to round up 4-7 at any given time. Oh yeah, he is very simple, most of the time when i start a fight with him, i am rarely over 60%hp, 45% mana, just because i don't like to take the time to sit and med, most of the time i spend runnin from one spawn to the next, it is a good way to keep him up constantly, kind of like a little race course i have set up in the forest

ok, so, i've been goin to WW for a while now, just killin giants for fun, then one day i got bored and i was like "hey, ill go check out the gobby camps, maybe i can get that one named dude to spawn" so, i go there, and i start killin ALL the gobbies there, then i see that this guy spawned, so i sit down, and slap my regen bp on, cause i wanted to get to 100% HP, and i was at about 93% or so. So, i was just sittin down and some gobbie walked up behind me and started beating on me, and it was this guy, so there were TWO of this guy up at the same time, so i kill him, leaving me at about 60% HP (he conned blue to me). So, i sit back down and start regening again, cause i wanted to get to about 90% HP before i killed the other one of this guy. So, im just sittin there minding my own buisness and he attackes me, i was standing in the same place i had been for the last 5 min. but now he feels like he wants to attack me, so i was like "oh crap, i dont think this is good" then another un named gobby agros (no big deal, they con green and hit for about 20, if they even hit, which they rarely do) so then i get down to like 10% HP and he was at about 15% and i was like "OH DOUBLE CRAP MUFFIN!! THIS AINT GOOD!!!" So i get him down to about 9% HP and i die. It sucked sooooooooooo terribly. Plus, the worst thing is is that im a DWARF WARRIOR, who is NAKED IN WW!!! YAY!!! The giants will attack me, along with the lvl 30ish ikkys who take about 5% life, and thats when im NOT naked. So after thinking about, i got a necro in my great guild to summon my corpse, then i got some stranger cleric to 96% rez me. But still, it sucked cause i didnt even get the damn loot. Oh well....

I finally got around to camping this guy yesterday, and now I wish I hadn't. I spent 3 1/2 hours killing every goblin in sight, even getting 2 Grachnist's a more times than I can remember, and EVERY time he dropped the damn gloves. Dropped the skull a few times too.
So unless you're lucky, plan to stay awhile if you're looking to get that earring from him. :(
By the way, he seems to have about 1200-1500 hp. I rooted him and cast Envenomed Bolt and sent pet on the other Grachnist. By the time E-Bolt wore off the rooted one he was almost dead. And Bane of Nife was overkill so he has less than 1500.

Just killed him a minute ago. He dropped Grachnist's Head. Lore/ No Drop. I have killed him about 8 times so it seems it is a rather rare drop for him, since this is the first time i have gotten the head. The head is used in a quest for a decent pair of greaves.

Popped into Warsliks last night and no one else was in the zone. Strolled over to the fort and found four Grachnist's up. They each dropped the gloves. Cleared out most of the fort, three more Grachnist's spawned at the same time - each dropped the gloves again. Cleared out most of the fort again, two Grachnist's spawned this time - each dropped the gloves (again). Pit Fighter Dob spawned once during all this.

Me - 47 ranger decided to camp him yesterday.
Some guy was there campin him and he kept going ld like every 2 mins. Sooo....i ran in there to "hold his camp" for him. Basically what you do is:
Kill every mob in the fort, as fast as you can, making continuous loops around inside, every time the fort decides to respawn, any of 3 things can happen
1) Grachnist & gobbies
2) Pit Fighter & gobbies
3) Pit Fighter, Grachnist & gobbies
will spawn.
Now, if you're consistent, and kill grachnist WHEN HE SPAWNS, it is very possible to see him more than 1 time per spawn round (max i saw was 3). IT IS POSSIBLE TO HAVE 2 OF HIM UP AT ONCE. I saw that happen as well.
Anyways, first 2 times i kil him, gloves both times. THen, on third time, i forgot to hit track, in running around with like 10pct mana and 70pct health and all of a sudden, Grachnist agros..... soooo i go toe to toe, didn thave any arrows with me (im stupid). and so he was at 5pct and i was at 2pct, I DIED OMFG..... anyways this ld guy comes back, kills grachnist, and GUESS what?? He gets earring.........
Soo..i come back and grp with this guy, we stay there for 2 hours (him going ld every 5 seconds). We killed grachnist a good 20 times, DAM GLOVES EVERY TIME..... Saw pit figher twice, altho 1 of the times, he was killed by groupie's LD body.... im gonna go back 2day and get my earring, and....more revenge for kiling me. What i say is Good luck to whoever decides to camp this guy.
BTW - Pit Fighter procs this disease thats 3dmg per tick and lasts as long as crud from fiends in PC..... so get up cure disease if ur gonna fight him, and if you dont have it....well...sucks to be you =/.

Went in today and stayed there for about 15 mins, killed this guy three times. On the third time, he dropped the earring =) Also, he dropped his head... still looking for what its used for. My tactic, being a cleric, was to agro everything I could (inside and outside fort) and then stand up against a corner (so i wouldnt get interrupted) and cast upheaval. I'd do this every respawn, killing about 30 mobs at once. Very effective to get the job done.

Have been camping Grachnist at the goblin fort for 2 days now, 7+ hours yesterday and 10+ hours today. I lost track of how many times I killed Grachnist somewhere after 50, but I would guess that I have easily killed him over 100 times. Each time he has dropped the gloves, about one in ten times he drops his head, and one time I got the pants. So far, no earring.
My tactic has been to clear the fort and the few goblins across the bridge, by doting one goblin, meleeing another, and having my pet melee another. This way I can take out three at a time. There are three special mobs that pop here. A goblin pit figher, which is very easy, and drops gloves for an Iksar Monk quest. Pit Figher Dob, who hits a bit harder and has a huge aggro radius. And, of course, Grachnist the Destroyer, who is very easy at 51. All of the goblins including the named are green, and are easily taken out without buffs or spells. I haven't had to heal myself once.
Grachnist spawns randomly, any goblin in the zone (with the exception of the ones near Cabilis) can be his place holder, and he can spawn very fast, sometimes there are 2 of him up at a time or more, and sometimes very slow, as in one per hour.
I would not suggest camping this guy for his earring to make money. Don't bother camping him for the earring for your own use unless you are very patient.

Interesting how people will flame you for no reason at all...I ask a simple question about the soloability of a mob and I am flamed...my gear not very well spent, eh? Maybe you should learn a little more about the game...there's this thing on items, it's called RACE REQUIREMENT...if you didn't notice I'm an Iksar, and the reason that I have 30 less AC than you is that I CANNOT wear the armor that you're wearing, otherwise I would have MUCH higher AC than you, even at 6 levels below you. You see, there's this thing in MMORPGs, its called race/class balance, in order for the game to work, each race/class must be balanced effectively. When they created the Iksar, they realized that we were sooo uber that we needed a penalty of some sort, so they decided not to let us wear plate armor. Because of this penalty, I cannot wear several sets of mid-high level high-ac warrior armor; namely Cobalt, Fierce Heraldic, and Enchanted Dwarven. The only droppable armor that has better AC than what I'm currently wearing AND is wearable by Iksar is WELL over my budget. Before you start insulting other people it's a good idea to make sure you're not making a fool of yourself while doing so. I challenge you to find me some droppable/Iksar-wearable armor that I could buy for the same price I bought my current BP, (around 3k), that has higher AC. YOU my friend are the one that has chosen their equipment poorly. You're level 53 with 2357 HP? I have 2480 at level 49! As a race that can wear FH and Cobalt you SHOULD have higher AC than me while maintaining an equal HP, especially when you're 4 levels above me! And looking at your weapons, I could out-aggro you any day, so your higher AC won't mean anything in the first place! Another thing, why would I bother trekking all the way out to Warslik's Woods to camp a mob I don't even know I could handle by myself? Too lazy to check it out myself eh? Isn't the whole purpose of this website to RESEARCH things before you jump into them and get yourself killed? Why even bother having a page dedicated to the discussion of this mob if people are going to flame you for asking a question about it? The whole Allakhazam database has been compiled over the years for ONE purpose...SO PEOPLE CAN RESEARCH. If I ever run into you in-game I'll be sure to kill you, in the meantime, I suggest that you kill yourself...good day.

You should be ok to solo Grachnist at your level, he has the hp's but isn't terribly hard to take down. And as for your gear, it all gets better in time.....

I've been looking for a nice easy item I can camp for to make some money off of and I've stumbled upon this little bugger. Would it be profitable for a 46 Warrior to camp this guy for the shrunken goblin earring? And could I get to him safely and kill him easily? Can anyone give specifics of to where this mob is located or spawns?
His spawn point is random; he can spawn anywhere any kind of goblin can spawn in Warsliks (except the newbie area near Cabilis).
Best bet is to go to the main goblin fort in the NW part of the zone and clear the fort, he'll spawn there eventually.

Just this morning I was able to solo this guy. I'm a lvl 39 ranger with mediocre equipment, and I was actually at half mana and 88% health. AC665 hp1096, and fully buffed (skin like steel, feet like cat, strength of earth, bramblecoat, riftwind's prot, thistle coat, nature's precision, call of sky, sow). My attk is near 900 I think, duel wielding a flotsam dagger (6dmg+4bonus spd 18) and a short sword of moran (6/22 or something?). Heh, pretty pathetic for my level, I had quit EQ and gave all my stuff away, but now have come back and am slowly trying to re-equip myself.
Anyway, nuked him out from a goblin camp, and he ran at me alone (he's was blue to me). Then I snared him, and went toe to toe, with me throwing a nuke here and there. We were beating each other down almost equally. I started at 88% hp, and by the time I got to 20%hp (with him at 22%hp) I backed off and killed him with arrows while he chased me. He'd have won had I not backed off I think.
He hits hard for his level, but not as bad as hill giants (best hit I saw was 69). Nothing fancy, he just bashed the heck outta me.
Anyway, if I can solo him, I think you (lvl 40 ranger) should be able to easily. I got the glove drop.
Oh yeah, it seemed he spawned again VERY fast. Just a few minutes later he was on my track again. I will probably go camp him a few more times and see if I can get any other good stuff (as you can tell I'm desperate for decent magic =) ).

Could a 40 ranger (me) solo this guy? I dont know why.. Because I have better gloves.. Maybe I'll camp him for the earring.. Anyways.. Can I take him? I have a WoFS and A Veno axe combo...

Yeah, Np. Just med up first is all - If Im ready, as a 39 Ranger, he gets me down to @ 40 - 60 % health. Im pretty well equipped, tho, but not twinked. Venomous axe and wurmy. I can also clear out all the lesser gobies to clear a spot for Grachnist just before they start to respawn, and actually my hp regenerates and ends up higher than when i started doing this :)
Im just trying to decide which is a worse farm. The earring or the swiftclaw sash. If I dont get an earring after questing 3 sashes, then brudda stay the h3ll away from this camp (=-(
BTW - I did get a Totem to drop. I thought nothing fancy at the time, but after checking rarity and price here. Im not dissapointed. plus, he is worth decent xp at my lvl, so not a total loss.

Mass slaughter worked quite well. If your a tank 52+ or a drud 51+ ( Im a 52 druid so I used mass slaughter techniques, load Upheaval and tag EVERY mob in the fort, heck I even pulled the 5 from across the bridge, tag all of them gobs and train them into a corner of the fort, and fire off Upheaval, Blam! 30+ dead gobbo's. Doing this I was able to spawn something like 10-14 Grachnist's in like less than 1 and a half hours, couple times I had 2 up at once, once I even tracked 3 up at the same time. Mass slaughter is the fastest way to get him to spawn. *** NOTE *** Try not to pull the goblin pit fighter, he has no use but to throw off your mass slaughter, hes got more HP, cant kill him in one shot. Just DD him if u get him as an add. Otherwise leave him, the named pit fighter can be interesting, I accidentally had him and 2 Grachnist on me while I was trying to do a mass upheaval, I almost died, and I'm 52. Grrr. So leave the goblin pit fighter alone, pull all the rest, AoE them, and loot them. If you dont loot them the spawns dont recycle fast. Just get real fast with destroy button. =P

I plan on goin back tonight I need a whole bunch of those earrings, for my melee friends who need them for fighting dispell mobs. Peace out, ya'll.

Whether or not you loot a corpse has no effect on how fast the respawn is. I was told this before at lower levels, but I've timed it and it's the same regardless.
Anyway, I had to camp this guy for 7 hours, needed the earring for an instant right click item. I summoned my pet (which is level 56 or 58 now, so he gobbles up the goblins) and ran around the fort tagging everything. I ended up with some pretty impressive trains. Dogdog would just pick them off one at a time. If there were any named (Grachnist or Pit Fighter Dob), I'd usually just root them, because even at 61 they still hit hard. Any pet class could probably do this, if you had a constant source of SoW (Black Fur Boots, potions, another character, Run Speed) in case you needed to outrun your train momentarily.
Every goblin seems to be a potential placeholder for Grachnist. I don't even think he's limited to the fort, because I've seen him at one of the little outposts near the FoB zone. The fort is just a convenient slaughter ground because there are so many of them. There were times when I got five Grachnists in 15 minutes, and there were times when I got two in 45. It's completely random.
All said, it took me 36 spawns to get my earring. I got 36 pairs of gloves (35 rotted, no one in the zone wanted them), one pair of wolf hide pants, one totem of the warrior spirit, and one earring.

Spent 12 hours camping grachnist.. gloves every time, 1/3 time skull, random scaled wolf/words/runes. 60ish kills and then finally I decided to give him 143 gold to bribe him. Then I killed him and finally got Shrunken Goblin Skull Earring.. now to camp AC in OOT :(
As a note, he can spawn multiple times, I had him up in 3 spots before, also he can spawn 20 times in a half hour, and 5 times in an hour, good luck.

Just so you all know, yesterday I was coming down the river below the fort from the ocean, and there was Grachnist sitting on the dam right below the fort, all alone, at a single mob spawn site. Thought this would be a sweet opportunity to take him out but still conned red to me at 27. I had FH FM Harm Touch available and a pet up, but as I was debating it, a spirit caller wanders by, so even if I HAD stood a chance, this would've finished me. Oh, well - I'll be back for your ass in a few seasons, Grachnist...
