Sarnak Extremist on 2/7/2009 dropped Raw Supple Runic Hide.... one of the two I now have after 4 hours of killing the sarnaks in the room by the entrance to Chardok... 4 mobs around a table... when I first came here there were 3 zealots and a knight.... I got my first hide from one of the zealots... Since then I have gotten any number of loot items but no more Raw Supple Runic Hide... in fact the zealots seemed to carry practically nothing ... I was very surprised to get one from the extremist....

For a low 50 something mage going after spells you can solo these...however in the Burning Woods you are only 1 add in a zone with a lot of wandering mobs away from death. Yes, I was a victim.

Watch out for these, they are tough to kill solo. They are shaman and cast slow on you, use cold nuke, heal themselves, haste themselves. They also have a lot of HP. I tried twice to solo these, each time I had to run for it LOL. Luckily I found a couple partners and got revenge hehehe.

While hunting in BW yesterday with a group, a Sarnak Zealot was pulled, and dropped the Sarnak Ceremonial Dagger. +3wis +3int RANGE. A nice little item, sells for 500-1k on Bristlebane.
Not sure what else he can drop, but I know that this dagger one.

Ah, life before the Bazaar! I have one of these on my mule now that I am trying unsuccessfully to unload for 125pp!
Granted, I am greatful for the lower prices on some items that I want to buy, but for some reason, the ones I really want have actually increased in price in the Bazaar. Go figure.
Just like Sony to throw a monkey-wrench into the game by tinkering with the economy.
Not much useful info in this post, but I just had to comment as I haven't had a bite on my mule in 5 days. lol

I read in some posting that those drops lvl 50+ spell rarely. Can anyone confirm that?

After killing these things from level 50-54 I can confirm that they rarely drop 51-54 level spells. As do the Wurms, the Moldering Gorillas, and I think the Scoriae Hornets.

One dropped a Sarnak Eichatka for me today, they're some claw things.

Sarnak loot consists of 1cp to 2pp wizzie runes and rarely a tabard (even though I got one on my second kill in kunark :)

So far, after killing a number of Sarnaks, only the named one has dropped anything significant.
