Slate is the only guard around the ruins that can kill griffs you gotta love him

well, ui'mn 2/3 of a bubble till lvl 11 and qwhen i hit lvl50 i'm gana kill slate juat for the hell of it, he's killed me so many times, plus i'll give his loot to newbies *( preferably trolls ! )

I swear, the day I hit level 45, Sergeant Slate will do nothing but DIE. He's a KSing jerk! On the Lanys server, at least, he seems to walk right through the level 5-ish monster spawn areas right around their spawn times. I swear, for hunting nearly 4 hours one day (waaaay back at level 4) I only found FIVE things that conned blue! Three of the times I found something to fight, it was nearly dead when Slate dashed up and hit for 150 points of damage and stole the kill! (This also happened a multitude of times at lower levels, but fire beetles and black wolves are abundant at least.) Everything else I could find was worthless green or impossible red. I followed Slate around and, sure enough, he got everything I could fight right after it spawned. It was such pathetic hunting that I went to Crushbone instead.

For KSing me so very much, Slate will die....a lot. My shiny new Soulfire (when I get it) has Slate's name all over it...DEATH TO SERGEANT SLATE!

sgt slate isnt that tuff just get a necro or a druid and some kind of tank and he will be a dead guard

No matter wht you think, slate is the players best friend. He cons amiable to me. Trained 3 young kodiacs, and two legos to him (pulled them off some newbie getting eaten. Slate killed them with no problem.

Well, for people that want to kill guards Reksin or Tolus for good exp, watch out, because the Sgt. can be half way across the zone and be no where in sight and all of assuden just appear next to you.

On Brother Jentry, he cons the same as FreeportMilitia faction cons, so regardless of where he's from, his job is to complete heal Sir Lucan in times of paladins coming to collect parts for their holy swords. I remember when Jentry didn't exist and it was easy for a small group of 50s to take out Sir Lucan.

Brother Jentry is of the Temple of Life, not the Freeport Militia... :) He's a cleric :P The most devastating thing that could happen to you when killing Eastern Common guards is this big buddy here. Doubles for 119 each, bashes for 47. That's painful =) Ah well, I'll get my revenge one of these days... I'll round up a big group and jump him :)

This guy is a newbie's best friend, even if you are an Inkie or dark race. He kills the griffins. I seen him take out two one right after the other. On the other hand, the grif will kill all the other guards in this zone.
