Back at lvl 20 (war), in a party with a lvl 16 monk and a lvl 20 shammy, I stepped upstairs for a drink... We were all healing up and the shammy medding. TPW... Not enough money for a rez, and a complete loss of directions. Well let's just say, it was fun being twinked again...

It would seem these guys can occasionally gate and summon thier little buddies. Very unusual indeed for a mob of this level, but I have seen it. Must be why they are called "SPIRIT CALLERS".

I was a lvl21 Ranger and went to LOIO to solo. I hooked up with two 16th lvl Druids and I got buffed by them and went pulling.
Had pulled a Sabertooth Tiger and was engaged when I saw a Goblin come down to shore. I called out for one of the Druids to watch him cause he was close enough to agro. Sure enough the Gob jumps in. He conned yellow to me at 21. The two Druids kept me up and I just kept wailing on him.
When he was down he took off at what I thought was pretty quick for a gobbie and really quick when so low on health. If I had been soloing when the spirit caller jumped in I would have died.
Anyone at lvl 20 who says that they casually kill spirit callers didnt actually pull a spirit caller

Ok, i am a lvl 28 sk and i am helping a friend do his Scaled Mystic quests. Now, since Ill Omen is a lightie controlled zone in Vallon Zek, it is a bit tough to wander around in ill omen, so i would like to just go straight to these guys and get the dang beads and get out. Is there a specific place I can find these guys regularly? A /loc would be nice, or at least general directions from Cab. Thanky Kindly.

I am a 28 monk, and during an enjoyable evening soloing Forrest Giants, I decided to go for a stroll in the woods. Here was this gobbie that conned blue to me, so I figure, "what the heck?” I launch into him with all I've got. About 20 seconds into it, I realize that he's starting to cast, and lands a DD with 86 damage. Ouch. This is one tough gobbie for his level. With DD and DoT spells, plus a swing that stings for a respectable damage as well. Be careful around this one...
I spent levels 16-24 in the lake of ill omen. Both 22 and 23 i soloed mainly goblins, and in the earlier levels we fought lots of these guys in groups. They wander around and also tend to group together at some of the different ruins. I found when soloing that they went down easier than sarnaks or sabertooths of a comparable level.

ok i just got done whacking this brute and i see a goblin casting on me i figure oh great since i see another brute coming my way so i start kiting him and whack frost slam like 88 DD. I figure ok i just resisted 3 spells before that so pull him back a ways more closer to zone. Then this SOB put a DOT on me i will never forget 30 dmg initial and when i finally zoned since i only have him down to 80% life and i was at half this DOT still took my life down as fast as i was binding my wounds about 30 HPs every 10 seconds. Now this thing conned blue and my MR is not that high but i resisted spells fairly well but when they hit that cleric needs to remove that f@#%ed up DOT or heal your frostbitten @$$. NOT for the soloing melee types.

These guys like to carry dolls, can't remember exactly what they are called, but they are +5 CHA No Drop items... Does anyone know what thet are for besides the stupid +5 CHA?
Iksar Shaman quest ... my Iksar Shaman is actually going hunting for these. They can often be found at the end of the stream in Warlisk Woods (pond area). The doll is basically part of the third minor quest weapon Shaman's get in Cabilis. Hope this helps!

I fight at lake of ill omen and fight these things all the time. I solo these things which are blue to me at lvl 20. They must be at least lvl 19. Some con yellow but most con blue. They also drop runes and words sometimes and tons of money! I got 4pp off these guys once!

I was in a group of 4 (lvl 21 pally,21 druid,20 war and was a 20 cleric. He didn't root any of us but he did do one are effect he killed the druid and brought the war and down to half health. he was almost dead then another one came and we had to run......So watch out for that spell it looks like levitate but it aint so run when you see that trust me

Had one drop an item called Spirit Caller Beads. No Drop Lore. Looks like necklace but doesnt go in neck slot. Anyone know what these are for?

me and my friend snaged one pulling from around the ruins. it coned red to me but we managed to knock it down to size. at the last moment the bugger just dissapeared. we had our hands busy wif a coupe of blues we had originaly pulled so we couldnt see where it went. i dont recall it running/walking away. do these creatures have a gate spell or something similiar?

Absolutely not true. Just because he only casted root on you does NOT mean that's all he can cast. Please don't post erroneous information.

they go at least as high as 26. Conned red to me at level 22. and they usually come with a couple of gob warriors in tow, tought to solo great for a balanced group.

Had one /con yellow to me at level 24 so they must go up to 25. They cast root, disease, and poison.
