Yow, these things hit hard. I've pulled several of these back to my Cuisinart-like group (very tank-heavy), and they do a somewhat consistent 56 points a hit (with doubles). Dag nasty, and we got some of the bigger ones, too (the ones that were red to my 24th-level paladin, so 27 or 28 on them).
Otherwise, just a big, scaly tank with a nasty temper. Nice xp, but I don't recall any drops nice enough to write home about.

This is a SARNAK Dragoon. Merely a tougher warrior class version of the Sarnaks in Kunark. Please keep the thread relevant to the mob at hand.

Posted: Sep 01 2000 at 11:44 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I just killed Zytl last night. I'm a 27th level Ranger, and he conned yellow to me. I was travelling with a 20th level druid. Neither she nor I could get a spell to stick to him - she gave up trying to nuke him after two bubbles and focused on healing me. With her heals, the fight was very even - both my HPs and Zytl's were within the same range for most of the fight. If it wasn't for another passing druid that cast a couple of heals on me, Zytl might very well have won.

There are 4 de Npc's that drop dirks, Dvinn lord of Cb, Zytl, the infamous dragoon, Krynn the embassador to Ogres and on very very VERY rare occasion Dorn B'Dynn

The name of this mob : A sarnak dragoon. (but the dragoon dirk drops exclusively from dark elves dragoons)
