Bloodreaver Narek appears smug as he raises his gaze to meet yours. 'So you're one of adventurers that foolishly attempted to thwart the summoning of Marnek? Had Ioris simply agreed to let me help, we wouldn't be dealing with this [mess].'

You say, 'mess'

Bloodreaver Narek says, 'Menizzia was successful in her attempt to summon the ancient necromancer, Marnek. He now has a hold in the [realm of the dead], as well as the living, meaning that our assault needs to happen on both fronts.'

You say, 'realm of the dead'

Bloodreaver Narek says, 'I can provide safe passage to the realm of the dead via a pool of magic that is located off the northwestern side of the summoning chamber, though remaining in that realm for too long will cause certain death.'

He brings help to Holy Defender Ioris, through his knowledge of the realm of the dead, in the group mission A Matter of Life and Death.
