Froglok Escorts are the uncommon in place of the Skippers, and Escaped Frogloks are the super rare. I went to the swamp at lvl 4 and was lvl 8 by the time I found four of them. I have 15 Bixle Berry pies from my fallen escort foe, it takes the death of about 5 or six Skippers before the escorts show, and in this time, only 4 escaped frogloks poked thier head out. They have the same faction ups and downs as the rest of the frogloks inthe swamp.

come to think of it, there was a group of newbies camping the foglok slaves when I was on my way to the swamp, I stopped to sell them something.
Slave Connection?
# Jul 21 2000 at 12:46 AM Rating: Decent
has anyone ever thought that the escaped slave spawn may be linked to the behaviors of the froglok slaves in east cabilis? The group travels to two places as far as i know: when the toilmaster heads to Tink n' babble, the group walks to the FoB zone area. They are also known to make a mad dash to the Swamp zone, where they run clear up past the troopers, up near the zone wall, then turn around and walk back.

#Anonymous, Posted: Jul 20 2000 at 1:56 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) one night i was hunting skippers for the extra shackle of clay meanwhile killing over a dozen escaped frogloks in an huor, but strangely, only one of them dropped the broken shackle, and all 5 skippers i killed dropped nothing... I don't waste my time in that worthless zone anymore.

Spawn Rate / Location

I have been looking for these little buggers for 3 weeks and I have seen all of *3* of them. The only place I have ever seen them is to the immediate left of the path just as you leave the city, before you get to the first bog. Is there a better place to look?!?!?! This is getting VERY frustrating!!!!!
Spawn rate much better

The spawn rate for these has finally been fixed. I found 3 in an hour recently.
Curscale Quest
# Jun 15 2000 at 9:28 AM Rating: Decent
Brossek - go to https://everquest.allakhazam.com/ and click on Quests in the left-side frame. Click on Cabilis and then look for the Curscale Skins quest. The only thing it doesn't mention is that the quest-giver is in the first floor of the Haggle Baron building in East Cabilis.

Two sites you MUST book mark are AllaKhazam's (url above) and www.eqatlas.com. Do some research and save yourself a lot of time and frustration. Good luck.
Curscale Quest?

What quest is that?
I'm a monk, and i really need them pebbles. But i never heard of the curscale quest. Little help?
Pebbles.
# Jun 07 2000 at 8:51 PM Rating: Decent
2 shackles is one pebble pile.
4 leech husks = 1 training husk.
3 pebble piles + 1 training husk = 1 piece of sparring armor, same or worse than Curscale.
Overall, the quest is only worth it if you feel like seeing the stuff. It gives moderate exp and little coin. I'd say stick to the FoB and keep going for the simple Curscale quest. Not as much exp but if you think about it, you'll get more in the same time as you would trying to find a damned escaped slave.
Monk quest

You need 2 shackles to getone pileofpebbles from the taskmaster. Seeing as you need 4 pebbles to fill the bag , this is pretty tough , considering the pay off is some fairly week 'sparring armor' If you wanted a whole set of sparring armour you'd need 100 or more pebbles meaning 200 or more escaped froglocks. Ya right....
warrior quest, bracelets
# May 22 2000 at 2:45 AM Rating: Decent
Warriors also need 8 of these, rediculous to need 8 for a quest, the quest is to get a warriors geozite tool to upgrada the warriors pike. the warlord in the swamp starts you on the quest, but you can't start it with him..

the pebbles are for the training bag quest. You have to turn in the broken shackles to the Toil Master in E. Cabilis to get the pebbles. I am not sure how many you have to give but I am pretty sure its a 2 for 1 deal ( 2shackles for a pebble)

Escaped Froggy Bracer
# May 19 2000 at 3:34 PM Rating: Decent
These froggies drop a bracer that you turn in to get the granite pebbles. I believe, it is 2 bracers = 1 granite pebble(s) but i dont remeber the name of who you give it to. I know hes in Cabilis, West i think, and he hangs around house with froggie slaves. Pebbles are also used for Monk quest for training bag, i think...
