Trooper Taer  

He's level 50 and completely immune to magic. I sent in pet and tried to DoT, but nothing would stick. Decided to beat him down the long way with pet, just for giggles. I spent my entire mana bar trying to get something, ANYTHING, to land on this guy. He resisted them all, every single spell. Pet and I meleed him to death while merc healed. Oddly, I'm 51 and didn't get a single shred of XP. He dropped a Brittle Larkspur.

usally Trooper taer doesn't just walk back and fowards the path, he also walks around a big hill to the right at pok, dont worry, he doesn't walk straight to pok, hes a couple distance away, only saw him go there three times so he doesn't go there often. Hope this helps to some peeps are in trouble go check at the big hill spot to see if hes there.

Was logged as my 59 necro today and got a little bored while I was PLing my friend in FoB, so I walk over to the path to Cab and I see this **** Trooper Taer wandering and my friend tells me that he KS's 24/7 all the newbs that are hunting along the path.

So I make a spectre pet with my focus item on, cast Augmentation of Death on him, and then cast Lich on myself. By this time since he walks so fast he walked back up the path for a little while. This gave me time to buff up a little bit, casting Shield of the Magi on myself, casted Diamondskin on myself, DMF on myself, and Spirit Armor on myself and my pet. Took off lich and put on Zlandi heart so I could regen my hp and have full mana rdy to go for Taer.

Whadya know right when I hit FM, full health, fully buffed, he walks down the path. So I got farthest away from him so that I could get 2 casts off before he reaches me because I know he runs pretty fast, turned /pet taunt off because if pet got aggro taer would lay waste to him.

I casted Lich again for mana regain during the fight. Cast Devouring Darkness on him to start it off, it sticks, he's reduced to a crawl pissed and coming straight for me. I then cast Vexing Mordinia on him so I get aggro because he couldn't get to me with devouring on, and he'd lay my pet to waste if my pet gets aggro. I then backed up a little and casted Invoke Fear on him, resisted, casted again, stuck this time. Sicked pet on him right when it stuck. Casted Splurt on him right after I stuck the pet on him, then Pyrocuror, no resists. Fear wore off by then, recasted it, it stuck on him. Then I casted E-bolt on him and shortly after I cast Plague on him. Moved up a little bit to where my pet was mangling him because I was starting to get out of casting range and recasting Devouring.

At this point his health is about at half with roughly 4-5k damage per minute being pounded into him by my pet and dots. Fear wore off again, I'm at 40m, recasted, resist. Recasted, and it stuck. Then e-bolt and Pyrocuror wore off, recasted them, no resists. He's at about 1/4 health now and his health is spiraling downwards with splurt lasting longer and longer. DoT by DoT just started wearing off, but I let them because I figured splurt would finish him off. Darkness and fear wore off, but no worries, he's reduced to a crawl and running because his health is at about 5% and spec is slicing away at him. Casted Touch of Night on him, a lifetap for 725 pts for the finishing blow :) . Then suddenly I see -

Trooper Ta's corpse says, "My comrades will avenge my death."

Finished the fight with 20m and full hp, he dropped 2 rusty short swords and 2 copper lol. Overall this guy has I'd say about 12-15k hp, hits hard(but he never touched me, left my pet at 90% health and just aggroed him for about a split second), and is pretty easy to kill if you keep him away from you and feared/darknessed the whole time. This is the work of a lvl 59 necro on Fennin Ro. Fear a lvl 60.

the &%(^ always stole my kills i was a SK with all my weapons gone and was killing somthing 4 a weapon and he came along and destroyed it i think he was just put there to **** people off

That rotten P.O.S. wandered around on the road and stole my kills when i was a newby... and when u actually needed him to save u he was nvr there!!!! Useless @#$%&!!!!!

Careful, this brute wanders and WILL kos any non iksar. So stay away from the path to cabilis.
