This guy is on a 7 minute spawn, takes 1 minute to kill, times 6 hours = still glared at threateningly by militia. any better way to raise faction for a 25 nec? or better person to kill i should say since im kos and cant do any quests.

Spawns on his own in hut located at n103 p4735 and then after a few minutes walks NORTH to zone wall, then EAST past Orc camp towards WFP, but stops before getting to Nek path... Then, he RUNS back to his spawn hut and stands there for a few more mins, and repeats pattern again...

Cons BLUE to the 25 druid I had with me

Ok, I killed a couple too many guards in East Commons so now they attack me on sight. I've read about Altunic and figured killing him a few times ought to set matters right with the guards. Well, I've been camping him for days, killing every spawn, but no experience or loot. Plus, my faction doesn't seem to have changed one bit. The guards still hate me, he is a decent yellow to me(a 26th level nec) so I'm wondering why I'm wasting my time with him now. I get the faction message but how many times do I have to kill him to raise my faction? I need some experience and it won't be from Altunic, I'm afraid.

The squire you have to kill for this quest is a major undercon. Green to my paladin at level 10, out of the 20 chances I got to hit him, I only managed to score one strike for 7 damage (and my weapon was a shiny brass halberd). He double attacks for around 10 and, of course, can bash, and I bet a full group of level 9-11 melee fighters couldn't take him out. Beware.

When i was in ec on rampage with a few friends we killed this guy a whole bunch. REALLY easy kill at lvl 26 for my necro, pull with engulfing, send pet, fear, SoP, and watch him fall. the first time i killed him a squire person spawned immediatly on his corpse. a newbie paladin stood watch of me completely owning this dude, then, i still had quater mana and the squire was green so i sent pet and pet soloed him ealisy as i med. squire droped a Human head or something like that. or at least it looked human??? i would like to know what that is for.

He cons either level 20 or 25, but hits like a level 30 without a doubt. Most level 30 mobs hit for 60 to 75 points of damage and so does Altunic.

When i was lvl 6, i did the quest. Now that I am lvl 24, i came back so i could help a friend do the quest. He conned blue to me so i thought it would be cool to kill him and see what he drops. I thought wrong. I instantly missed both double attacks and he hit me for 45, 56, 18. Ouch. So i thought it must be some mistake. I attack again....and miss. He hits me for 60, 63. By the time I thought about running, i was down to 2 bubs. Dont kill him if your below 30

He is a merchant that sells shields, Do not kill him or else all you'll get is a nasty faction hit, no experience, and no corpse. In order to complete the quest, tell Merkos at the hall of truth I am a squire, hand the note he gives you to Altunic(he wanderers around all the time, he lives in the house directly across from the 3rd inn by the western commonlands, so wait for him) Squire Narl will spawn outside. Kill Narl, give Altunic the head, then buy a medium cloth shirt and give it to him. Take the token back to Merkos then hand Merkos a venom sack(off of a desert tarantula, level 10 or so in NRO) Next guard willia will spawn in the sewers nearby the canoe, go into there and attack him immediately, or else he will run off and you will fail the quest if he does. Loot the token off of him hand it to Merkos for your testimony of truth(a component of the soulfire) the quest is doable easily by a level 10-12.

This guy drops your faction with the paladins of truth (the freeport bank guards) and raises it with the Freeport militia...at 24 he was too easy and his corpse disappeared when he died and did not give any experience although he was blue...

will killing this guy give a positive faction with Freeport Militia? i am sorry i don't know how to read the faction deal above i get too confused :P hahhaa

He "wanders," rather than spawns. His home is the lone house across the road from the westernmost inn in the zone. He starts there and then "wanders" around the board on a preset cycle. Running into him is a matter of luck.

where does altunic spawn??? i need to deliver this note to him for a quest
