I consistently dropped commanders with two IC's and a Rend, thats about roughly 3k HP's, virtually no resists to low lvl root spells, all blue cons to me at 52. Havent had one spell drop out of a dozen or so of these mobs. All found at the ruins with spectral keepers.

At 47 these guys are a bit to tuff for me. They have to many hitpoints and save all to often. I tried 5 times to take one down solo, but had to zone OOM. The other spectral thingies all fall down. I am glad they dont assist each other and agro range is small

As a level 48 Iksar necromancer, I was playing around with the undead camps in Trakanon's Teeth, near the zone to the Emerald Jungle. These guys are POWERFUL! I was using Beguile Undead to charm various ghosts to make them attack other ghosts, and ended up with one of these spectral commanders under my control. Well, with about 45% of his health remaining, I sent him on what I thought was a kamikaze attack against a spectral keeper, then I ran a fairly long distance away so that I would be prepared when the charm would wear off. As I sat there, meditating, I saw the "You have gained experience!" message, and I thought to myself, "Wow, those commanders are mean as hell!". So I ran back towards the ruins, and the commander met me on the way back, still under the influence of my charm spell. He still had roughly 40% of his health remaining! So naturally, I sent him to attack yet another spectral keeper, and ran off to meditate and prepare for the charm to wear off. Same deal; he killed the spectral keeper and came back to me with around 40% of his total health. Next, I sent him up against a spectral champion with full health. After a few moments, the commander was dead, but the champion was so low on health that when I approached him, he tried to flee, and was easily dispatched.

These spectral commanders are very good fighters, with a great deal of health. If they can almost single-handedly kill every *other* ghost in their own camp, it's really no surprise why they're the commanders...

These also spawn near the Swamp of No Hope entrance. Fought one last night with just me (43rd Warrior at the time) and a 50th druid. The one we pulled was hitting for 109, and we ended up having to kite it. They're warrior MOBs, though, and only melee. No spells.

id say closer to 5800s it takes 6 ice comets to drop one. This also spawns sometimes just close to sebilis entrance (barely inside ruins just past it)

The one I dropped had 5500 hp and dropped a pearl necklace. Spawned in one of the camps near the EJ zone.
