After a ridiculous number of clears he finally spawned for me at 234,586,1166 at the beginning of a bridge behind the hut with 3 apes.
Since this spot is mentioned nowhere, not even on Magelo, I do think it's likely that any ape can be a PHer but I'm not about to prove it by continuing with this endless camp.
This was a painful camp which I just about gave up on, TBH. I had a gut feeling this Sunday morning, logged in and cleared every ape except for the 3 in the hut who actually killed me due to not paying attention. By the time I rezzed, ported to my GH to rebuff and returned, this shy guy had spawned. He blinds and forces you to feign death so you can't cast even thru the blind till you stand up.
About time! Now for Seedspitter and then done with this zone!

This guy can spawn anywhere in the gorilla area, just kill apes until he does. For me it was on the north landing in the apes area.

the PH's in evantil for nameds seem to be completely random so can't narrow it down to a single mob type but the spawn point given and the one in the other post here are accurate
edit: for example, when i was hunting https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/npc.html?id=41238 he popped from a goral leafjumper instead of a famished goral/there weren't any famished around just a ravenous goral and the leafjumper but he popped at the location given on his page

He actually has 2 spawn points. One is the location in the picture and the other is 205, 646, 1169 on the ramp that is north of the pictures spawn point heading North East. He spawns in the center there.
