Sword of the Lone TarotKilled tonight 100mage + clr merc. So get fire pet out and cast aegis. and fortify companion. guard it near the prowler. (kill it b4 u pull) pull name with malo and run around the corner. send pet so it will start casting and building agro. pop elemental ward to help take some hits. fade w/ cloak of shadow and move so it summons the pet and also hits the clr merc a few times. back off pet so it pulls named away to guard spot. silent cast and burn him to the ground. WIN!!!!!

Buffs itself with "Wrath of the Diminutive" (60-second spell reflect, damage shield, rune). You must do about 1 million HP of damage to overcome the rune. If you do this, your group gets healed. If you fail to overcome the rune before it fades naturally, he AE's "Punishment of Wrath".

100 Ranger + wiz merc on burn 100 Monk+ wiz merc on burn 95 Shammy + healer merc and spamming shammy heals
Pulled with ranger used AA slow and had both wizzies on burn
Took us a few tries but we finally got it. Dropped Sword of the Lone Tarot and a minor

- Get a paladin to tank it. Normal trash mob pull, but tank has to switch attack off and build aggro with spells & AA. Put possible caster mercs to burn and use taunt if/when you lose aggro.Once casters have burned it's DS switch to normal melee mode and you're fine.

You simply cannot melee this guy. I beat him boxing by using three dps caster mercs with one of them on burn to pull aggro. I healed the one with aggro with my cleric and shaman and he went down quick.

Couple more things. I pulled with shaman by slowing. Once he buffs with his DS he's very resistant to slow so you want it in right away. He doesn't self buff until he takes some damage so your timer for the 20% damage doesn't start until you do a point. Nothing assists him.

This guy is a beast. Took down a 120k tank in 1-2 seconds. Never got to the AE part. No time to heal.
