Chancellor of Di`zok  

Hey all. Just soloed this guy today. Was Dark blue to me (52 Shaman) After clearing out as much of the surrounding area i parked my pet just outside the TR. I pulled with slow and was able to grab just the Chancellor and his pet. It was a tough fight but was able to take him down. Just make sure before you pull him to clear the area. I was jumped halfway into the fight by wandering mobs so watch your back.

If you're after his Jade Chokidai Prod for either the weapon itself, or for the Charasis key, it can possibly be done with a group ranging in the 40s, or soloed by a 51+ (depending on the class). It will be a lot easier, and safer, if you go with someone else if you are 51+.

His spawn is approximately 2 hours, no longer than that. Waiting for him at either corners on the wall by his throne will keep you safe from annoying green sarnak agroes.

Make sure you're buffed up, and the throne area cleared. When he spawns (right at the throne), pull him before he gets a chance to summon his pet, or buff himself. If he has the Prod or not can be seen; when he does, he wields it.

Don't forget to root / snare him before he runs, and you should take him down easily, if you go with help (if you need it).

He will not Drop the Jade Chokidai Prod everytime, as we found out.

Took him out twice tonight with my lvl 54 druid easily, but didnt drop anything either time... whats up with that??

Took him out last night. 56 ranger self buffed with epics, wasn't difficult at all. Con'd light blue.

I successfully soloed the chancellor tonight as a 47 shaman. I jumped him right after he spawned before he could raise pet and maybe before he buffed himself much. But I was starting at half mana from clearing the room. Had already fully buffed self and pet, send in the pet right away, slowed him, scourge and VoS, pet melee plus my own had him running pretty soon. Then the fun begins, because the uncleared mobs are all on me. But I keep on the chancellor and ignore the adds. Pet dies. Chase chancellor for about 2 min, with adds doing minimal damage while they chase. He goes down with me OOM and 1.5 bubs health, I loot prod and gate to safety. Not elegant, but it worked.

Probably be a different fight if he was fully buffed and had pet up. I did participate with a 52 mage in killing him with pet and presumably fully buffed earlier in the day. Mage basically nuked him to death very quickly, with no help from me.

Be sure to camp in corner to left of Chancellor's throne. None of the sarnaks will aggro and you can med and buff to heart's content. Park pet in corner works fine.

Clearing whole room is difficult because they repop pretty fast. Since he is on a 2 hour spawn timer, best bet is to see when he dies and get organized to take him down exactly 2 hours later. Just clear the mobs on the stage near his throne before he pops, and root him before he runs, which I was too OOM to do.

I went there with my Rogue 52, and my cleric 40 on my other computer.. I buffed up my rogue with the usual cleric buff. Going into the fortess was kinda funny, i have up to 8 saranaks on me at one time, killed them all, and maybe lost a little over a bub of life. Worked my way to the chancelors room. I pulled a few out at a time, then worked my way up the side wall on left, until i was under the ledge on the left. I had dizok in view. I waited until a few saranaks got out of the way, cuz this guy conned dark blue to me at 52, so i had no idea what he was capable of. Needles to say he died . he took all my life down to 1 bub, then i did a complete heal, and took out its pet. Looted the Harpoon. I didnt know jow long the spawn time was, but I just killed for about an hour, got 2 bracers fromthe legos, that let you see invisible, one for me, one for refresh. I think when I log on in the morn, im taking out dizok again, since im camped there, and go check out that weapon smith guy and his imperial guards and see if i can re arrange their faces.

Did him tonight 3 times. 54 Ranger. First time had cleric backup. 2nd time, a couple monks about level 30. Last time solo, and it was tough. I got there late, so was on a recruit when he popped. Took long enough that he was able to get a pet up. Don't think he was able to land any spells on me (and he didn't cast that much), but with him meleeing for up to 91, and the dog, and me being down a bit at the start of the fight, I ended up at 1.5 bubbles of health when I finished his pet after him. Now that I've done this once, it seems like the pet hits hard enough to be worth rooting away from the fight. About 950ac, 2k hp. Doable if you buff up first, have a strategy, and are a little careful, but not easy.

Killed him last night with me (45 shaman), a lvl 45 wizard and a lvl 41 ranger. He was nothing. He got off two of them AE rains... only problem. His pet couldnt hit me with 740ac. Didn't even have to buff the ranger. Just threw slow on him and he was like a little puppydog ^_^. He hit in the 60's to 70's wasnt too bad.

The chancellor is on DiZok faction. Being non-kos to Brood of DiZok, he does not /con "scowling" like the sarnaks on Sarnak Collective faction.
