Took my druid to the Ogre's at lvl 18, kinda risky at times but great xp.
Never had Oowomp aggro once, but do be careful.

These raiders are peppered around the Ogre camp where the boat to the overthere arrives. They are rather easy for light races to avoid to get to the boat.

This is one of my new favorite places to lvl from 18-21. The loot here is fantastic for anything else in my level range, and if you go from spawn to spawn you will always have something to fight. Just make sure not to aggro anything close to the oowoomp, as he has a larger aggro range than you might think. But, this is one of the emptiest zones, good if you don't want to get PKd.

I killed a raider the other day while waiting for the boat and he dropped a Riles Sand Coin. I cant seem to find any info on it. Anyone know anything about it? (no stats, LORE ITEM) BTW, it looks like a sea shell, same icon as a cauldron shell for shammy bracer quest.
Riles Sand Coin is a foraged item, and is necessary for the Iksar Monk bronze shackle quest. It's no drop, but not lore (at least the ones I foraged were that way). Perhaps they've changed the nodrop status recently, otherwise I have no idea how it got onto the raider, as nodrop items given to NPCs won't go into their inventory. Are you certain that you didn't forage the item yourself?

i over heard one of these ogres dying..said something along the lines of beware of the greenbloods? are they connected to the ogres in ogguk at all?

Besides Ogre Raiders there are Ogre WIse Ones who are some sort of caster, Ogre Watchmen, and a few named Ogres; Ugrak Da Raider who ia about lvl 23-24 and drops rust boots, and the Great Oowoomp or something like that who must be in is 30's and stays in a hut. Don't pull him, he's certain death to anyone in their 20's or lower. There is good loot on this island and if you time it right you can mover from spawn to spawn and get good xp.

They now drop, Rusty, Bronze and FS weapons, Large Rawhide gloves, cloth caps, low level words, low level pages, and up to 3 plat.

they drop all sorts of Rawhide, not just gloves. And I have yet to see a rusty weapon on one.
