I mess with monks all the time kid, the trick is not letting them hit u alot. MOST monks dont use a good throwing weapon becuz of the weight factor, had a bard that i stripped away equip except for my drum and got challenged by an Iksar Monk, i inspected and he had about 28k worth of equip so i accepted...keep in mind im naked. I killed him in about 25 minutes, to bad he only got a cheap shot of 24 2x dmg total heh Knuckledusters arent faster than selo

Mr "they don't use ranged because they way too much" I guess you never messed with a monk after he got back from a good ole plane raid with a few stacks of Shiruken's of Tranquility eh? 100dmg 20dly throwing weapon, weighs 0.3 ...... very nice for tagging while high level pulling ... or slapping your friendly "I'm going to run away from you 'mob'" down =)
And yes, I admit these are not real common to lug around but ... ouch when they do =)
Anyhow there is no "best" class overall, for individual players yes there is a class that best fits their needs :) and it is just a game after all....
