There is a little ledge to the south of his roam area that is perfect to fight him in. He has lower HP than normal, prolly due to his nasty dot.

He dropped the embellished armwraps of kolos for me today
I pop 3 clerics and and tank it away from group..That's the key. If you get close, he'll root you and DoT you and life will really suck......'cuz the healers are gonna be healing everybody, heh.
Healers are gonna get summoned, but with 3 of them healing each other and tank, it's a just burn it down kind of mob.

So far it's dropped a Twisted Stranglebow, head armor and a Waistcloth of Visions - caster belt.
Group was shammy, 3 mages a ranger and mercenary healer all with max HoT group gear, group heals were needed for the dot, an 11k+ nasty one and the puller better have some range because this named can root.
