Mystical Claws of Jojo

I started learning to pull this island with my 24 frog Paladin, just for fun. All of the mobs were blue or light blue. I did not have any buffs I couldn't cast myself, and was moderately twinked.
This was my strategy:
First, clear the one kerran in the small hut to the front and right of the JoJo hut; this is the pull spot for the area. Pull the kerran outside of this hut and to the right - solo pull always.
Then Lull the "guard" outside the hut which is furthest from the hut you're pulling to, and pull the closer one. Then pull the one you just lulled.
Entering the JoJo hut, if one kerran cons higher to you Lull it - otherwise Lull either - and pull JoJo. You will get one add. Pull JoJo and add to hut, KILL ADD FIRST. (I chain stunned to keep from casting.) Then kill Jojo.
Easy peasy.

Why is cost 100k ? it's really 100k or ?
My level 39 Necro pet soloed this guy without any noticable movement of his hit point bar after it aggroed on me while I was exploring Kerra :). Claws kind of suck by today's standards, but I'm going to give them to my level-11 Ranger anyway just for show.
All that said, for its level it seemed to have more hps than normal; the pet took a while to beat it down. It also hit me quite hard for a mob of its level, so it's likely to be a significant undercon for anyone fighting it at a level where they could get XP.
Then again, no-one goes to Kerra these days anyway, so why worry?

i might be thinking of something else. but when my cleric was young, I fought a Jo-Jo and it was an uprigt walking character what kicked ass at level 20ish. did they re-vamp his image? i will look around I might be wrong, but i coudl swear it as a jo jo.

So I am, right now, camping Hamed with a 40 Druid. JoJo is on track, so I go over to kill him. I am standing right on his spawn spot and the /loc is positive 891, positive 244, positive 9.75.
Do not fight him in the hut where he spawns. The healers will out-heal your damage output, but they will not attack if you are significantly out of range to them. JoJo was hitting me for highest of 40 points. First time, I had to zone because I ran out of mana. Second time, I pulled JoJo to right in front of the bridge by zone and killed him, no problem. He dropped the Mystical Claws of JoJo. About 20 minutes later, "A Tiger" spawned in his spot, so I gave up on JoJo.

i'm just wondering. coudn't u just charm jojo and walk him away froma ll the kerrans? and even if the cats aggro from the charm, just use jojo to help kill them, wouldn't that be much easier than taking on all of them?

I killed this thing a lot with my druid, just playing around slaughtering everything in the zone. The thing I'm wondering now is can a 22 rogue and bard solo him? Err.Well. I know we can solo him but will the cats jump in (were not kos)?
My druid was 31 so all the cats were green in the building around him. But they didn't agro when I pulled him away. Was that because of my lvl or do they not agro at all, just heal?

They didn't aggro because of your level. In my experience, as a ranger, if I attacked an animal other animals would aggro me and con threatening while I was killing animals, but when i wasn't they con kindly, and if the other animals were green they just walk by.
Just my experience.

JoJo cons yellow to me at 21. Also, not on subject, but his loot is commonly dropped.. Killed him twice and got one of each the claw and the gloves.

This was a suicidal camp for 24 Druid and 29 Wizard, both prepared and buffed. The shamans kept healing when harmonied. Best way to get claw would be to just clear the "inner village" area of zone with a bunch of newbie rabble or one high level <grins evilly>

Hi,
As a 15 Ranger I went to Kerra Island and he conned RED to me. Plus there are two cat shamans next to him that continue to heal him if you do a considerable amount of damage to Jo Jo. Its best to take them out first, then the tiger.

the mystical claws are the same as thulian claws, except one less damage. That, and theyre dropped off a lvl 10-15 monster, not a lvl 38 monster(think thats avatar's lvl)

JoJo also drops Tiger hide gloves. AC2 +2 Str +2 Dex. 30 minute semi rare spawn. In the same building with the patroling tiger. place holder is a tiger. JoJo has Kerra Isle faction, unlike the 'a tiger's who don't. JoJo has about double the hps that the 'a tiger' has

kalerien every thing on kerra island is WAY under con i have never fought this cat but i am sure he is tuff and the kerras would KoS u and heal jo jo

No, not a chance in hell. There are 5 kerrans in the building he spawns in, and they will all aggro. Not just heal, but aggro. They were all (including Jo Jo) red or yellow to my 15 ranger. Try mezzing the cats? First one you mezz aggros everything in the building. Charm him and pull him out? No good, there are a crapload of cats outside. Trust me, this is just not worth it. For a weapon with a similar dmg ratio to a dwarven axe, which you could easly get off darish in cb, and this thing is protected in a freakin fortress. My self, a level 15 ranger, and a level 16 enchanter tried to do this a minute ago, and we got pounded, both of us were dead in seconds.

I tried soloing Jo Jo at lvl 29 as a druid. I had to gate through his hits. He hit a lot harder than his level, takes alot more damage, and if you do not kill everything in the surrounding building, all the cats around will heal it. I took him down to 1 bub of life twice and they healed him to full in about 5 seconds, i left with enough mana to gate out. Very disturbing that so green a zone of creatures can take such a large group or very high level people to kill things. Another thing i did wrong, i changed into wolf form right where Jo Jo spawns and about 7 kerrans and the gorrillas came out and killed me in about 10 seconds. Tried to cast gate once and it failed. This place is aggro central. And everything there was green. Gonna try it again at 31 to see if i can clean out the area first then kill jo jo, harmony city. Then have to figure out gorillas, want some things off Lord Gongo.

i've seen people with duel claws and Dragonspine and BTC are primary only for SURE, i beleive these are eitehr primary or secondary

No both demon claws (bladed thulian calws) and JoJo claws are primary hand only...jojo claws are basically demon claws (BTC) with 1 less dmg =\ good for pets or people who cant kill the AoF yet

Can you have the demon claws in your secondary hand and jo jo's claws in your primary i think that would look cool.

Stats on claws are not that great and are 4dmg 19delay magical and follow the same rules of BT claws that they can only be held in primary hand.
Also, his spawn seems about 20 min or so, and is easy to get

From what I know, he also drops some gloves. Decent low-mid level items with +2 str, +2 dex, 2 ac.
