Yes, all the weeds are lore and no drop. The rings however are not not drop. The loc is best found by jumping to www.eqmaps.com and getting the map of UpGuk. I really wish I campled mitty more when I had the chance. This spawn is much worse.

All of the quest items are no drop, but the resulting rings are not.
He spawns in the fungi room - not sure of the loc but look at a map, there's just one large room with fungi in uGuk.
He's on the same 16.5 minute spawn timer as the rest of the zone. Luckily, he spawns every time - no placeholders. Unluckily, he rarely drops any of the items.
Also of note: The faction for all of the fungi in uGuk is not "Fungus Man" but is "Frogloks of Guk", so while you might be able to walk in without being KOS, once you kill a few shrooms you will be KOS to both fungi and frogs. (This also means that the frogs jump in to help the fungi if you let them run too far).

Can anyone tell me if the bracket Mildew,Faerix Spores, and Degenerated guk weed that this mob drops is no drop??..i have very bad faction with the kerrans,being,an erudite and would like to know if any/all of these are no drop...thanks

Silver Ring does still spawn at the bottom of the BB pond. I did it yesterday (April 20, 2000), it spawns every two hours.

Melixis in Kerra needs Bracket Mildew for the copper ring, Faerix Spores for the silver ring, and Degenerated Guk Weed for the gold ring. All of these items are dropped by the Fungus Mutant.

This guy now drops one of three quest items that if taken to kerra ridge can be given to someone there (forgot who) for the copper,silver, or gold paw of oppolla ring. I really don't think this is a rumor but havent been able to confirm it myself. If you don't want to camp Princess Mitty forever you cna try this guy.
