I started my camping on a saturday at 1pm EST. Break from Sun 10am to Sun Mid. Got GBS at 4pm Monday. 4th of July weekend. Figured only chance I would ever have.
It took killing her 6 times to get my GBS. 37 hrs of camping.
I noticed the following things:

1) Tovax preceded her spawn 5 of the 6 times. Kill him.

2) She spawns all over the place, but always tries to come to the ruins, center column area.

3) I killed every thing in site, ruins was empty when she showed up the last time.

4) I believe the skellies are place holders. Would have dreads, putrids and regulars walk up and sit in the spots where the decaying skellies go to form the ring. Tovax made his way to ruins about 1/3rd of time - may have more if I didn't go hunt him down.

5) Spawn time on Pyzjn is random, had two in one night, didn't see another for 10hrs.

6) High Level Bastards will try to kill steal you (had 3 try) usually go away after 1 night.

7) Being necro had to use sense dead as my tracking, not great but was effective. points you towards nearest undead (incl. corpses, other ppl pets, npc pets, misc skellies which you want to kill anyways)

8) The area around the ruins seemed riddled with despawn locations.

9) She mopped my lvl 16 ranger in banded. Feared me and proceeded to wail.

10) When I got the GBS, I looted before the pet was dead. Surely has no bearing but if you camp this spot paranoia and superstition is likely to set in.

11) Did not hear of or see varsoon once while camping. Got a hunch the GBS and him are related in a necro quest.

Tips to pass the time:
Help lowbies level at ruins, give out rib bones to monks, fletching is a fine skill.

Last note earliest kill GT: 8pm
latest kill GT: 4am

She spawns at the Ruins in QH

what if i said i was paying 15k for someone to tell me how to get her to spawn would any who really knows how to get her to spawn tell me?
I've camped her out for 45hours only got her to spawn 5 times i got 3out of 5 of her cause they made event in hills and every ###### high lvl in the game came i heard later that night the gbs had droped a ranger took her to millers of corse nobody was around and whacked her and gave stone to his friend in SMR !!! i was ######!!!! couldn't belive that happened i ws alone then event just poofed and lvls 50s and higher were sitting there next to me

Last night was my first time camping Pyzjin, and while i never saw her, I had a blast. Looks like something I may be continuing for quite some time. As for those who say they have a 'magic' way of making her spawn... you're only making yourself look like idiots unless you actually prove it. To those who have posted hints and possible PH's thank you for sharing your knowledge! If I figure out anything about her, I'll let you know.

i have parked my ranger and camp in near the ruins. while playing my other characters i have been logging on with him every EQ night i play for weeks. I have killed pyzjin 8 times and seen her about 12 no GBS. I have seen her and tovax on radar at the same time. I have seen her spawn in two sucsessive game nights. She has at least 4 spawn points. Ive tried killing everytihing in sight, and killing nothing. I'm sure she has PH's but she appears to be random, and very rare. As for the guide's hints it sounds like typical verant banter trying to add some mystique to a simple math equation. If ever i find a way to make her spawn you can bet i'll post i'd love to see all us diligent campers winning a GBS. Best of luck to all cause thats the only way any of us will get a GBS

Did you ever think that those are the ways to make her spawn on the Veeshan sever? DID YOU EVER THINK OF THAT?

Ok everyone i have spent almost half my game time trying to find everything out i can about Pyzin and have spent lots and i meen Lots of time camping her and trying everything posted on everlore and here and everything everyone has said Nothing about tovex scruffy, the mangy rats or even killing everything in the ruins has goten her to spawn and believe me i have spent many nights without sleep and have had my room mate camp while i do sleep , while camping her, although about a month ago i talked with a Guide did a little role play and sweet talk and she well was nice and told me a few things about Pyzinshe gave me a few hints and these are the hints she said to me............

1)The Gods have made an elusive quest that brings pyzin onto the lands but they leave it up to you to unlock this secret knowladge
2) and this is often stumbled upon in the lands one must walk the lands, notice its inhabitants,speak with them if one pleases
after giving her a tell back a few days she gave me the last hint she said she was giving to me
3) perhaps the guards can help you more
so i took it that the guards have somthing to do with triggering her to spawn , and she said its often stumbled upon witch meens it dont happen often, sounds like somthing rarely done or somthing somone does not knowing what it triggers i have did everything with the little cheslin guard the low lvl one and nothing with him has worked yet even taking faction and killing him... Now my fellow Pyzin hunter please Do not let this info out to everyone you talk to in the game but please try what you can post what you think might work .. im asking for everyones help here i have let this out so please post it if anyone finds out what it is , and dont post somthing telling us you know what gets her to spawn and your not telling for one you probably dont know and two you probably some little low lvl as newbie so shut the hell up, sorry the wisdom guy pissed me off hehe :) good luck everyone and i hope somone can find this out for what i have posted came from a guid off the veeshan server thank you Everyone

Everyone believes that Pzyjn is one of the hardest camps in the game to tackle. There is some truth to that, but it can be overcome.

First of all, Pzyjn spawns every 12 hours of real life time. She spawns during an EverQuest night cycle, however, it can be anytime during the night. She may or may not have a Placeholder, however, killing skeletons and things that walk up to the ruins is a good idea.

Many people become horribly frustrated when they attempt this camp. The common statement is that Pzyjn spawns at the ruins. This is not true. She has at least 4 spawn points, all within the hills and walks to the ruins everytime. I have killed her myself 4 times, and on the fourth recieved my GBS.

Here are some spawn points I have observed.

1) East of the ruins, down the hill at the large single tree.

2) East of the ruins, a few meters off where a single gnoll spawns on a flat plateau. Halfway between ruins and Blackburrow.

3) North from the ruins at the road where the guards patrol.

4) Northwest of the ruins on the other side of the large hill, at the base.

Please keep in mind that on each occasion she walked to the ruins. Your best chance if you are serious about taking up the Pzyjn spawn is to do the following. First go to the hills and get an idea from someone camping her (there is always someone) when the last time she spawned. Estimate 12 hours +/- 1 and a half hours. Come back at that time, if you are not a druid or ranger, bring one as track is invaluable and is truly the only way to quickly find her.

Also keep in mind that you must be wary of NPCs in the area. They do not like Pzyjn and you might get unlucky and loose her to another guard or NPC before you can reach her.

I like some of the ideas, especially the one that says wisdom guy sux, well, I'm not sure if wisdom knows or not but dear god, you're way off, don't go around telling people they suck if you're really that stupid.
1st-keep Tovax Vmar dead
2nd-there IS a ph, it is the only non undead thing that will go to the ruins and stay there...kill it at 4pm game time.
3rd-go to loc 4339, -162 and hope she decides to spawn..and it doesn't look like there is a way to get her to drop it all the time like there was...bad verant, BAD!!

Why do idiots like kilamr post this garbage? It is a computer game, regulated by the rules of programming and the defined flow of the designer. Pyz has the exact same method of popping as any other spawn. She is a timed spawn, maybe with random element like Vox, with place holders. It ain't much harder than that.
