With a name like Soulcatcher is this thing a souldbinder, by chance?

I found her outside by the drinks vendor. Hailed her, and she said, "Hrrrm.. Iffrir does not much care for smell of this place but the selling of good drinks is not permitted within the inner village so any priestess must come here for them."

Her statement made more sense to me after sitting by the fire listening to Falthrik Lothoro talk about how in the Kerran culture the females live in the inner village and the males live on the beach.
