It isn't necessary to be a twink cleric at level 12 and take this guy clerics are meant to battle undead 40+ damage spell and 9 dmg summoned blunt plus root and stun can take the king. Think before you decide to go off on anybody who knows how to play their character better than you do yours.

He was given the Bloodforge hammer by a player, only way to get the hammer is to give Trumpy Irontoes head to the Bloodforge in the warriors guild, first name escapes me.

does this guy ever spawn? i waited all day yesterday and kept the thing cleaned out. no king. also, if he's the same level as the knight, he can't harm touch for much more than 100.

Ok..I'm reading all this stuff...And your all nuts..Hes not that hard! I was level 14 (and i'm a Paladin), and had a level 13 cleric with me. I didn't even have to use LoH, and we took him down. And he was yellow. Hes not that hard folks.

For undead slayers may be not that hard as someone said, but I (lvl 13 woodie ranger) and a lvl 12-13 wiz fought one yesterday night, believe me he's quite hard and packs a good punch. I was down to less than 10 hp within seconds... i couldn't even land a single blow, my mate did all the job fortunately :)
I pulled him with my usual Snare, then ran up to him but in the mean time and before i got to him he cast may be 3-4 DD spells or whatever it was and I was nearly creamed before he died to nukes

You a 14 Pally and your buddy a 13 Cleric... of course not a prob.
Not only are all of them either black/white and below, but both of your are undead fighters... ward undead kicks bony *** for the level u get it and the amount of mana it uses. Not to mention there were two of you.
A pally SHOULD be about to take down a yellow con undead creature level 20 and below... otherwise... get some gear bro.

Killed him twice today, I was playing my level 12 cleric and was grouped with a level 9 bard. He conned yellow to me the first time and red the second. The second one chain casted 303 points in DD over 4 casts (2 were over 100point DDs) before he engaged in melee. One tough mother. The ONLY reason we lived (or even engaged him in the first place) was a couple of SLN buffs placed on us by a passing high level druid.

i was running through bb one day and someone trained the king to gfaY zone so being a lvl 25mage i killed him with hardly an effort only 2 cast and pet finished him up didnt cast to much but almost kill my pet before i healed it

what is the spawn time on the king becuase i was at the spawn point for about a half an hour and he never spawned btw someone told me about a rare crown or someting he drops j/w if thats true.

I went solo against him as a 20 warrior and he was dead in 20 seconds he is not that hard!!!

im a lv 14 mage and my pet and myslef killed it, it conned black and it was meleeing with my pet while i casted on it it fell pretty quick but it hit me with a 80 dmg spell Ouch!

my 52 druid friend and i were camping the chessboard with our necros (both level 12) well the king spawns and is very red to us so she logs on her druid, it took 4 of her uber nukes to take him down...5 folks...at 52...that's a lot of hp...i know he can be lower, but at his highest he is one mean mob
At level 24, i solo'd him for someone at the chessboard who couldn't kill him, took only 5 spells, I whirled him, nuked him twice, 95 dmg each, whirled him again, nuked him a third time, 95 dmg, and he was dead. He only got 1 spell off and i resisted it. As for the "crown" it's just a rumor, no one has one.

I tried to kite him with my lvl 57 wood elf necro just for fun. Used an air pet duel wielding lamentions and pulled with ebolt. He wasted my pet fast and I was forced to lay hands... finally got a root off and cast Ice Comet a couple times. Went oom and had to zone, and he still had half health! Stay away from this guy unless you want to die.

He is not hard at all! I am a level 13 Druid on Torivulnelous..sp? It takes me a while, but I will harmony everything else and take out an Undead pawn, then when all of those suckers are dead, I go after the King. He didnt drop anything at all, as a matter of fact, I didnt get anything from the pawns either....

I've soloed the king many times with my paladin, starting out at lvl 12. He is tough but main thing is to use your bash if you have it and not let him get his spells off. Also watch for any of his friends sneaking up, that can lead to a dire situation.

I am a level 14 warrior, do you think i could take him alone? Ive taken enemies that are conned black with no buffs. But how the stories you tell, about harm touching for 200, im not sure. He doesnt sound that scary. I can take him!

The guy who said he killed him at level 8...Yer lying cuz even if you did kill him, the most you can possibly get off of 1 MoB is 11% of your exp bar and 1 full bub is more than 11%.
Second, I heard somewhere that the king has an ultra rare drop. Its a +int head piece. I have never seen it first hand but I have heard many testimonials. I cant remember exact stats but Im pretty sure they were decent...At least equal to that of the savant's cap.

i dunno where u got yer 11% number but just think back to lvl 1 or start new char and go from 1 to 5 and i am CERTAIN you will see yer XP bar move more than 11% at times.

are u sure you can only get 1 bub? my friend has a twinked new char and at low level in GFay he soloed a red cent and got like 1.5 bubs or more...
I Solo'd him to a little below half of his health before I bailed back to the Zone. I am a 16 Warrior and he conned White to me. When I cut out I was at 2 bubs of health. One minute it seems like you are gonna win easily then all the sudden he starts whacking you with those spells and you are in trouble. The point is he can be at least 16, so make sure to con him before you engage him.

I took this guy on the other day with a 12 rogue, grouped with a 10 rog dwarf and a 10 pally. we got beat up some and lost the 10 rog, but over all, the rest of us were at about 3/4 life. tough but not unbeatable. didnt drop squat, but good exp

I'm a lvl 14 warrior and I took the king today with regeneration and devine aura. Lost very little hp at all. He dropped "Words of Reviviscence." yesterday, my lvl13 warrior buddy and I took him with no buffs at all, lost half health eash, but he went down, no prob.

At the very top it says the king drops a bloodforge hammer, ive never seen it drop this but i have heard it drops a newb band thats like +2 str. I suppose its a ring of some sort, but i talked to a guy who claimed he had gottin it on a different server then I

The King does indeed drop the Bloodforge hammer! I was using my 12 cleric and was grouped with a 12 warrior and a 13 ranger. We dropped him quite easily and he dropped the afore mentioned hammer. I was lucky enough with a roll to win this little treasure. It sells for about 15pp in GFay and, I have heard, more in Antonica. Can't remember the stats off hand but it is a pretty decent weapon.=)
