Unknown what this guy drops, or faction hits. He conned Yellow at lvl 11. He walks from Karana Zone, to Qeynos Zone. And immediately disappears once hitting the zone. Possibly a Quest NPC.

If you look off one side of the ship as you approach the Erudin docks, you can see a small rocky island and a lot of the time Crumpy Irontoe is there! Why is he there, I don't know. I do know that you can find a dusty broken shield up near the wall of Erudin close to the island he is on. Is he somehow involved in the quest to recover the remains of the paladin that gets laid to rest by the cleric in West Commonlands that you get from one of the pally trainers in Freeport?
He has nothing to do with the pally remains quests... Divine Might starts in Befallen...

killed the necro tovax i think then i see this guy and i killed him after asking him everything you can think of (whowhat where when why hows ...everything ) and he didnt respond looted a rusty warhammer , a vial of dwarven blood and dwarf meat which i value most highly being a master chef

He might be part of a quest concerning the irontoe bridage which was sent to crushbone to an old dwarven stronghold to recover an ancient artifact . The irontoes where wiped out in the battle of busted skull and remaining left for part unknown . When trumpy is questioned on drumpy irontoe( founder) , crumpy irontoe and dumpy irontoe . Thumpy irontoe will refer to irontoe only as old pals from the good old days . I know the locations of dumpy irontoe and crumpy irontoe but drumpy irontoe location is unknown and possible this npc shed light on this possible dwarven quest

There are many NPCs wandering Qeynos Hill along the path. Most NPC will respond your hail, but won't go further.
They are originaly in other zone. Erudite caster can be found on the 2nd floor of Erudin libraly, some merchant can be located in Highpass.
Yesterday, while I was resting inside first windmill in Steamfont Mtn. (where cargo clockwork makes its trip to), Crumpy Irontoe poped! AND, he start talking with gnome mechanics man (Flebin). So he is Steamfont NPC originally.
All respons I got from Crumpy was same words I got in Qeynos hill.

Crupmy attacked me after I had just killed Tovax and his skinny friend at the crossroads (from behind). I was a bit low on life, and out of mana, so it was a quick fight resulting in a corpse run for me.
I was able to avenge my death at lv 15 with my Druid (it was a close call). The loot dropped was just a rusty warhammer and some coin, with no faction hits, good or bad.

Many human NPC (maybe except Holy) will attack you if they saw you attacking Tovax.
So be careful when you gonna revenge Tovax ;)

When i saw this guy walking around I knew he looked a little familiar and then on one of Verants frequent downtimes i went through the tutorial out of sheer boredom. And there he was he is the first person you meet in the tutorial, only he isnt wearing such shiney armor.

He Conned Blue to a level 17 monk, was hard enough that if mend had failed I wouldn't have won, hits harder than whatever level he is (typical of named spawns), didn't give any faction, didn't drop anything better than silver, copper and a rusty hammer.
Well that's odd. He conned blue to my lvl 16 monk, and I beat him like he wasn't there. He got in two hits for more than 12 points of damage and barely got me down 1 1/2 bubs of health before turning tail and running. My ONLY concern fighting him was a wandering NPC or Guard when he broke and ran.
The drop was disappointing. I thought he must have been a quest character, but even that seems to not be the case.

One time I saw a different dwarf "zone" into the hills. I dont remember his name, but he wasn't wearing full plate. I after thought it might be "Lindo" who is talked about alot in Rivervale by several NPCs, but has never been seen. I dunno.

Just because he is wearing steel/plate armor doesnt mean he drops it. Kinda like how tundra jack wears full steel/plate armor but only drops 2 craps picks. so dont kill him thinking your gonna get a full set of steel/plate armor. if that was the case everyone would have a full set =)

For all of you ill informed pathetic fools who posted. None of the Irontoes are related. They were part of some old Kaladim guard squad. Two irontoes are in the Qeynos sewers writing stuff on the walls, one is in Qeynos hills, one in Qeynos by docks, one in Kaladim, and one in the Tutorial. Ask around Kaladim about the Irontoe brigade.

The easy way to kill Trumpy Irontoe is to hail him and then he tells you to buy him a drink...it usually takes about 4 or five to get him talkin. Then you continue with the dialog with him and eventually he storms out all huffy. follow him away from the bar until he goes to the back alley near the bridge and then whack him. The guards wont help him but the corrupt guards will so watch out. this is usually pretty safe tho

Ha! I love it. Everytime I go near the docks in Qeynos I always stop in at Fish's Ale just to ask Trumpy Irontoe "Who is S'ragg?" so I can watch him get all flustered and run around Qeynos like a chicken with his head cut off. Keep away from me ya hobgoblins! I don't want no trouble! Har!!

Hehe I submitted this pic, and as you can clearly see, the con message for Crumpy is "YELLOW" I was only lvl 11 at the time, and being that yellow cons show up at 1-2 lvl's ahead, it is presumably that his lvl is 12-13, possibly there are 2 forms of this Crumpy, a hard one, and an easy one...Kinda like the ORc Trainer who drops the SBS...

The level range could be an easy 12-17 or 18. This is not uncommon, just like spectres range from 33-37 :-)

dudes no way dorn in nro has a yellow con at 13 to me he hits in the 40s to and i only have about 300 heath. so he has a fake con so does this crumpy idiot.
