Me and a group of others lvl 12-16 found one yesterday and took it down. So It still spawns and drops this on Vallen Zek

I was strolling through LS and was beset by this guy. Lesser Nightmare had me blinded for about 75% of the fight but my pet and I prevailed and took his pelt.

Just killed this today. Was running to Najena from Sol A when I saw it down the hill from the goblin camp next to the Sol dungeons. Kept blinding me, but I was still attacking it. Dropped the nightmare hide and some necro word. Just letting y'all know it still spawns in LS.

Me and my frined have been hunting in lava for about a year now and niether of us have yet to see this thing how often does it spawn?

What does the honeybugger bandage quest have to do with this?
Absolutely nothing. Well, not quite; these guys do on ocassion drop bandages, but it's kind of silly coming all the way out here hunting down a rare spawn to get bandahes for Joogl when off the rack bandages you can buy all over the place work just fine. That's why this guy is listed on the write-up for the Joogl Honeybugger quest. But just go buy bandages!

I hunted Lavastorm with a lvl 18 Paladin friend, I had just turned 17 at the time. My Pally friend was finishing off a Fire Sprite and mentioned seeing a horse while I was medding. I jumped up to see something new. The Lessor Nightmare I found coned black to me. I rooted it, it resisted, I rooted it again and it stuck. Then I cast Lightning Bolt and went blind. Not a fun fealing at that time. I hit alt+7 till I got my sight back. I took the HP down till it ran and the pally jumped it. It was finished off quicker than I expected. It dropped the Nighmare Hide and a Rune of something. I want to find another one so my friend can have a Hide too.

Easy to Solo for a 25 SK on TM server. Then again, if I can't solo him at 25, there's a major problem. The blindness can cause minor problems, though. Good thing I hit for the 40's regularly and can ht for 251 though....

You probaly get bandages to do the quest
Why? I don't understand why you'd want to go clear out to Lavastorm to get bandages off this thing when plain ordinary off the rack bandages you can buy from merchants in any city will work just fine for this quest. Summoned bandages and silk bandages won't work, but any ordinary store bought bandages will.

I've been hunting off & on in Lava for a year & I have yet to see this creature. Does it still spawn? Looks like I might just need to schedule a trip back...

Yes, it spawns, I was pullin for my group 3 days ago, and i run across this thing, only to immedaitely be blinded. I had sow and blindly walked backwars and apparently kited it a bit (its a wonder i didnt run into some lava hehe) my group finally jumped it, and we killed it. Our highest group member was only 12, with me being 11, the only reason we won was because a nice cleric had cast Resolution on me not too long before ;) We were pulling to the left of the LS ent, and it jumped me a bit over the hill near there. This was on Tallon Zek, btw.

Well just got off of eq where me and my husband (Level 15 dark elf mages Maharie and Zarel)
Killed the lesser nightmare, he was yellow to us and quite easy, except he kept blinding me :P
He dropped a Nightmare hide which is worn in the back slot and is AC 5 and has 5 charges of restore sight, which when hotkeyed when you are blind will cure it. He was found near the najena entrance. =)

blindness is cause by a spell that is casted by an orc apprentice and that
thing stops it...

Nightmare Hide will render u immune to blindness, i think
No it dsoesn't, but it can cure it by right-clicking on it. Make a hot key for it if you know you're facing a creature that's likely to cast blind.

I saw this guy. He was Blue to me. I'm level 17. He kicked my sorry butt six ways from sunday anyways, so don't fight him solo. I got a nightmare hide off him, but I have no clue how restore sight is supposed to work. How can you use an item to get your sight back when you are blind in the first place???
