Thought I spent a bit time here with that mob. Enc 89, War 90, Dru 89 and Merc (Heal, Tank, DPSMelee). Wiped the first time due to not reading the help here. After that I tried the DoT-Variation, got Pushed and at ridiculous 1% got adds from another room and was killed. Even the Dots running on the mob didnt kill the 1% down, what a mess. A rogue from another group lvl86 tried to Backstab the 1% down, but no chance, was pushed into a group of unseen foes and died instanty. So the third try was successful and a long but relatively easy and safe fight emerged after changing the whole group into: Enc89, Dru89, War90, Bst86, 2x Heal Merc.
Here are some hints for people who are only at Tier 1/2-Armor and not beyond 90:
1. Use DoTs, this was a really good hint (many thanks)
2. Use DS (Druid DS can add up to 4k at lvl89, this was vital for my group and the key)
3. Use DoTs from many PCs to not get too much aggro on one if you have no good gear
4. Main Tank is always on getting aggro without fighting, never fight or fight only as long you dont see the DS-Buff and eat 6k*your hits (arrgh)
5. Slow him down, he will be hitting up to 10k+ sometimes on my softies
6. Heal with one reactive, one efficient merc (if no cleric is there, else be prepared if not slowed)
7. Use cleric Divine Intervention for assurance on all vital PCs (if possible on Tank, also Enc/Dru/Bst)
8. Waste pets and send them in regularly over the fight (without big buff, perhaps a group-Slow from Enc or Bst)
9. Be safe with some Runes from Enchanter (but rarely in the fight, except you are Non-Aggro-AA-Maxed)
10. Kill the one roamer at the corner (forgotten guardian and optional the one Mephit (SeeSoS) outside and immediately engage after the Corner-Mob (to use the time between the repop)
11. all should stay at the corner facing the wall, except tank, he has wall in his back (last corner in front of the room with Gilibus)
12. all should be on slow walk, without Sow/FoE (so casters could be on mount if they stuck in the corner but use slow mounts)
It is no a "fear", it is a "push", so you can handle that a bit, but if pushed into another room, you are doomed
13. If you are unlucky, get your fellowship in the tunnels of the Golems on a safe spot for easy recovery
14. One see invis mob roams outside from the castleentrance around the castle (he sees rogue invis!)
So all in all I tried to
- War: spammed Bazu Roar, Scoff, Rallying Roar and Taunt from Warrior without fighting (in Final Stand Disc, after that Bracing Disc)
- Enc, Bst: Use Pets after the 6k-DS faded and sent them in till they die
- Enc, Bst, Dru: Dot (be careful on Druid, he is vital for the DS, don't over-Dot)
- Dru (2-4k Damage Shield for damage WITHOUT aggro makes it possible with low group)
- Enc: Mob should be always on Slow/Cripple (Short damage peaks can ruin your long fight)
- Merc Heals on efficient as long as Mob is Slowed/Crippled, before that, one should be reactive
- Rog: possible to Backstab without getting aggro
All in all I needed an combination of all because the group is not so heavy geared or so highlevel. If you get them in the corner, they normally get only pushed down the long way and you can get back easy. You get always pushed if you get too much aggro, so be careful with aggro. If you are unlucky then the roaming Mephit from outside the castle (that one, that goes into the entrance a bit) gets involved and that makes it really messy. If you are very unlucky (like me the second time) then you get a push into the side room and have 3 adds. If you are too slow for the kill, than the outside roamer repops (happened to me, so I had 4 adds alltogether). If your Enchanter is pushed around or blind while that happens, your group is normally dead in lower tiers. If you are too slow at the kill because you have only lvl 89- dots then the single roamer can respawn which can make the whole fight again a mess if you get unlucky and your DSer or DoTer or Slower or Aggrotank gets killed. If you clear the room before the corner to be safe then we needed too much time for medding and killing Gilibus and the room was full again, so I didn't wasted time on the third try.
The third try was really smooth. Killed the roamer, the tank got Druids Untamed Growth (HPBoost), Shell of the Reptile, DS (Surge of Ironvines+Thornspur+StandardDS+PotionDS for 4k DS), he engaged with Aggro (Bazu Roar, Rallying Roar, Scoff, Taunt), Enc Slow/Crippled/Tashed (with Curtailing Helix/Clamor of Tashan) and then I put the two mercs on "efficient" (optional be safe and take one on reactive but empties fast). Then after the 6k-DS-Buff of the mob is gone, sent pets in and dotted lighty with Enc/Bst/Dru without getting too much aggro. After Pets are dead, the suspended Pets (with suspend Minion from BST and Enc) went in and after that only pets with a Bst-Haste went in, while a bit Dot and especially the great Druid-4k-DS did his work. No repop of the roamer, a faster kill than only dotting, nearly no aggro for Druid, easy aggro-holding for the tank and it worked without having Tier3+HoT-Armor. Tank had about 53k HP buffed and with the Druid-HP-Boost it was 61k HP and about 5,9KAC without Disc so he was the highest level with the best gear in the group and some HP1400-Arrmor parts from the Facction-Trader (NPC, bought with dream motes, Elusive Eidolon, no Tier 4 access so far).
Melee Mercs were wasted time because they got eaten on the first 6k-DS-round. If you are so unlucky that you get pushed into the room then Exodus and try again. We had the safe spot in the tunnel with the golems. There was a Cleric and a Rogue for rezzing and getting corpses with help of Rogue Invis.
One Note: There is a mob roaming outside around the castle (Mephit) who gets only to the entrance and some steps inside. He sees through SoS (Rogue Invis), so be careful on that single mob.
