The Tome-Eater  

This mob's PH is "A Burning Tome Whirlwind" There are two I noticed when clearing that always spawn in the same place as the same mob or the Tome-Eater every time.

The first location is on the first floor of the library on the east side of the pile of burning books in the middle of the library.

The second location is on the second floor on the South East side of building at the top back of the south stairwell.

It is very worth it to kill both of the PH's when camping this mob speeding up the rate of return by double. The mobs here are extremely easy for high 80's to low 90's to box with mercs in many combinations. I used 90 chanter mage and bard with two healer mercs and a tank merc and the only time I got into trouble is when I tried to auto follow and the bard went outside to gather some more mobs running around the building. The only time you get more than two mobs at a time in this building is if you push a mob into aggro range of another. The burning book pile downstairs has the potential for up to four mobs at a time if not completely cleared but again no real hassle and a little care can be taken to single pull these apart I was just lazy and didnt care.

There is another named in this building on the second floor with a PH maybe two. Several names that spawn close to the building outside if you want to work the area it pays well, almost always something up to equip a toon or a twink.

Took about 8 hours of constant killing the spawns to yieldn two or more of each Tome-Eater drop except the staff which only dropped once.

Confirmed drop of Recondite Remnant of Desire (Chest) and Recondite Remnant of Greed (Hands).
