When Beget Cube makes this transformation he takes on a very severe damage shield. Assuming you are working with a group of people that would normally fight here to upgrade, that is the time to have all melee turn attack off and back pets off, then once he returns to cube form go back to attacking. By doing this you avoid the majority of DPS this mob puts out.
