This guy is supposed to heal you if you ask him to. However, I am at "indifferent" faction to him, and when I ask, he says "I see. Well, then sit and rest. I must save my energies for something better..." or something to that effect. Doesn't he heal at indifferent? Or do you have to be amiable or higher? Has he ever healed anyone else?

He cons kindly to me and wont heal. It might be that you have to be below 50% health before he'll heal, but I've never tested it. I've always thought the whole exchange is simply to add depth to the game, and he's not intended to actually heal you -- no matter what your faction is.

If you ask for healing he tells you that you may rest there. When I've been in fights near him thou and My hp drop below 40% he will sometimes heal or buff Me. He also heals any mobs that are close and below 40% (damm near killed Me when fighting two aquagoblin shamen near him). I use this by letting My pet root the mob and running back toward the fab4. He heals and I run back to the fray.

He won't ever heal anyone, exept possible the others there (though mostly he just nukes the crap out of watever wanders by like the gnome does) He will refer you to the dwarf who will lead you to the zone. Claims he needs to conserve his streangth.

I understand he wil heal PC's. I asked for healing but he suggested i leave the zone and did not heal. I am 15th lvl Ranger. Conned amiable.
