Not really camping him but just in room for exp.Spent 3 hours there and he didnt pop.Think he is a random spawn.He might pop 2 times in a row then maybe not all day.Got him today though as he was up when i came into the zone.Bring help though.My 63 pally is PLing my 28 shammy and he nuked shammy almost to death before i could get a heal on him.Shammy had 1700 hp.

try as I might I could not seperate the king from the goblins in his room or getting aggro from one or more from the next room over while pulling into the hall with my 37 monk.
I managed to get him solo using Phantom Zephyr on him, then aggroing the two in the room....BUT...when I went back to get him, I used PZ on a mage in the next room over just in case...
Mind you this mage was far enough away to not aggro by proximity...
Immediately on PZ I pulled the king.
Guess what? I got the mage anyway...so there I was with my newly 26 shaman at the end of the hall to help when I realize for some reason I am not attacking...
I LD with monk at 20ish percent health...I am about to log in to probably see both characters dead bah!

I, a 35 warrior and a 39 pally got whiped out today in his room. If it wasn't for him we would have won, but the bastard nuked for 240 4 times and 111 once before we took him down. His buddies are the ones that finished us off. Didn't get back to his corpse in time for the loot.

This guy is bread and butter if ya do it right. Come into the door and get barely in range of his room door. Practice timing it so both doors are open when he pops so you can immediately pull him. If you pull him with a slow spell (Eng Darknes) and go through the hallway door and stop, as he comes through both doors will close and no additional aggroes will follow. Cram a 401 Harm Touch up his nose next and you're walkin happy all the way to the bank.

i got two scepters from this guy then i realized you can only hold then in your primary hand so wackness, not good for monk!

Killed the King a few days ago and he dropped " Tattered Gnomish Cloak" looks like a red robe, but I can't equip it its gnome only. Don't remember which classes. I'm thinking this is either trash or a quest item. Reply if you have additional info plz

A tattered gnomish cloak is one of the ingredients for the tinkering recipe to make a
thermal cloak, which is a reasonable constructed res cold back item.

His common drop is the ring. He spawns in a room with 2 other Solesek gobs. His spawn is rare. I have camped that room for hours and never seen him pop.

that isn't nescesarily a bad thing...least i'll get firewalker boots and fiery vambraces without him killing me =/
