The 6 level limit is a rough guideline folks. I somewhat assumed that most of you know as much.

Secondly. MR is not ALL that matters. Although yes, verrant could theoretically give giant RATS an MR of 255 or whatnot if they so chose, There is more to the equation than simply MR. Levels, or at least skill levels definatelly factors into the equation as well.

The net result is an approximate 6 level rule. Nothing more, nothing less. If you personally can cast on mobs higher than that with any consistancy? Great. If mobs lower than that can cast on you, oh well.

It's been confirmed with ShowEQ, but that has nothing to do with how hard it is to cast spells on him. Verant could make a 1st level rat completely resistant to magic by simply pumping up their MR to 255; conversly they could make a 60th level with 0 MR,
Anyway this guy is very tough and requires a huge force (40+) of 50th levels to take him down. Since he is resistant to almost all magic (and all damage spells) you will have to depend on your tanks and pets to take him down. Just make sure you have clerics available to do lots of healing and rezing during the battle.

Just because he resists all magic doesnt mean he's lvl 254. There's a clockwork in sola that resists all magic. he isnt lvl 254.

I know that is not true about the 6 lvl limit to cast. when I was lvl 42 a lvl 12 hit me 10 out of 10 casts. so whoever said it cannot be done is wrong. NOW it was only like for 1 damage each time, but he still hit me EVERYTIME.

Vangor, time to buy a clue. The level casting cap does exist. Make a level one, go cast on a guard or young kodiak. Notice that you get resisted every time. If a mob is either 6+ levels above you, or 120%+ of your level, his resist rate to you is approximately 99.999%. I play a level 50 enchanter, I know this for a fact.

At level 50, I can affect mobs up to level 60. And you want to know something? Dojorn sheds spells from mere level 50's like a duck does water. The way he is killed is that a group throws a bunch of tanks at him while the healers try to keep up with the damage he's causing.

If you know what levels you can affect, you can eventually determine the level of a mob. i guarantee you that dragons, gods, the dracolich, and the maestro are all level 55.

People assume 53 solely because that's the minimum level something can con red to a 50. Your statement falls under the "Proof by lack of evidence", and would be great coming from Dilber's boss.

It is not a hard six level limit but a percentage of your current level that you may cast above. GZ has stated this several times. So yes at level one you will not even be able to go up 6 levels pobly, but at 50 since that percentage is much higher you could potentially go up the 13 levels nessasary to get a few spells off on him. ShowEQ is right, and there is no use argueing about it since it is pretty much proof.
