My lvl 19 troll sk was still bound in Highpass, thought I'd head home fer awhile, missed mom's beatings ya know.... Saw this guy, conned green to me.. Figgered what the hell... Cast clinging darknes and settled in for some easy combat.... Yeah, right. Had me down to 2 bubble in nuttin flat. Headed towards my "supposed" buddies Da Bashers, who preceeded to kick my a$$. Created a new troll character, gave him consent and he carried my corpse into the swamp. Now I go in and Da Bashers only con apprehensive to me....Whats the deal? They killed me while being chased by the slayer, but only con apprehensive now?
I dunno, at least I didn't take as big a faction hit as I thought....

Sworn at by many a young troll for stealing their kills, this fellow tends to wander the area around the enterance to Guk. This is probably because the concentration of frogs will tend to gravitate there.

think about what you said there....you were fighting a TROLL slayer, and ran him to the TROLL guards. the slayer doesnt kill trolls, he is simply a troll that slays. these guys are on troll faction, of course the troll guards are going to whack you for fighting him.

He infuriates me! I fight Kobolds and stuff with my 3 beastlord(I thought a gator would make a good warder) and he steals EVERY kill almost. I'm bringing in Mr. 15 druid to kill him. NOW who's the slayer? He's 2nd on my hit list, next to Giz Dinree(she killed my wizard while medding, I killed her with my 15 druid with luck)

Definately stronger than it looks.. I'm a lvl 58 HE cleric and I happened to kill this guy a couple of times while I was wandering around the area where this guys hangs out for some reason. Of course no major difficulties to me but he surprisingly well resisted my stun/root spells. High (very high campared to its level) MR.

uh... Maybe its just me but he has never (and I hardly ever use the word never) resisted any of my spells and I'm only a lvl40 Wizard.

I was on a Corpse run from Grobb. cleared the zone and saw this guy just before getting to UGuk.
Thinking this thing Slayed Trolls and my Shaman friend is a Troll magic womon. I decided to wack him.
Seeing I had no weapons and he was green I smashed him with my bare fattie hands. Well he fell rather quickly but OOPS! Da bashers not like dat. I got to remember that. No loot anyway....

Was fighting one of the wandering named mobs when up comes this guy and KS's my mob. I am also a troll but was way irritated and attacked him.. he was low green (I'm an 18 SK) and he resisted all my spells, did over 100pts of damage to me and I managed to get in 8pts before I hit the zone line.. so definitely higher that the reported 15.

don't trust your instincts on this one, people. i was on a quest campin' gators and spotted the oaf...conned green (to a 15th level rogue), so i thought a quick dagger in the ribs and some light melee would net me a few coins. i missed the backstab and was unable to land any substantial hits at all. he, on the other hand, was hittin' me twice per round, every round for about 40 points, breaking my bones like twigs! i expect finger-wigglers might have a better chance if they could keep him at a distance and fry him...

These guys definately miscon. I got the quest to go kill this guy and bring back his neckless, so I find him, he cons blue to my lvl 9 Ogre War. Luckily I had a SoW. I did about 17 pts in the time he hit me for a total of 80! Then I run.

Caution, only 5 kills of this guy took me from Indifferent to KOS. Thats like 200 "got worse" messages effective hits with the one message.

This is just a guess, but I'm thinking they're so tough cause they're like guards, except really low level, like a last ditch effort for newbies to save themselves.

I was a lv 15 war and he was GREEN to me. He wailed on me and killed me. So do not be mistaken. If u see him and he is green just avoid him. Trust me

I must heartily agree. This foul thing of nature conned green to me at 20, and if it wasn't for Feign Death, I'd be lying there waiting for the flies... Another thing, if he's 7-15, and I'm 20, how come I hit him for 2-7 dmg and he hits me for 18+?

Me being an Iksar shaman, I had a lot easier time of it. Root, 6 nukes, close in to finish. Only reason I killed them was to do the Ivandyr's Hoop quest. So far no luck yet.

I'm a level 27 druid, killing gators, looking for skins, and I've killed the slayers a few times. Each time, I've had to kill them with spells, I couldn't hit them in melee. I would miss like 20 times in a row, then hit for 3 damage.

These things are way underconned. As a 13 warrior (with brand new dual wield), I attacked one that conned blue; it beat me down very quickly and I had to zone.
At level 15, one was GREEN (not high "could pose problems" green, but "you should be able to take this thing out easily" green), so I attacked it, and AGAIN I had to zone...it took me to half health very quickly, and I missed it most of the time.
This is not because I can't kill stuff; I have no problem soloing low blues normally.
Do NOT mess with the Slayers unless you don't have to melee them.

Same to me, at lvl 15 he hit for 24 and this very fast, don't mess with him the factions aren't worth killing him anyway.

Most of these guys conned blue or black to me at 10th lv....but as a fellow trollie, not gonna mess with 'em. If ya need one of their necklaces, go into grobb. Usually some for sale...

Becareful if you are a Darkelf Shadowknight... I was in a group and they killed the troll slayer. I got a faction hit for it. And now I am KOS to the troll guards. Not fun... and that leaves only two cities I can trade in. Whoops! :)

Hey, I like these guys. FAST spawn rate. Kill one, within minutes there's another one. Tough for their level but they aren't level 15. I've seen green ones at level 12. The Captain might be 15. If you get into trouble (frogs or nobles or Spore Guardian), hope to find one of these guys. One of these guys fighting the Spore Guardian is like watching your two favorite football teams playing against each other.

I am a lv20 mage and i have encountered the troll slayer in the swamp and then decided to hit him with a bolt. It didn't kill him which then I proceeded to hit him with I think it was either one or two more shock of flames before he died. Missed me every time tho when he attacked, pathetic if you ask me.
