Does anyone know how bad the faction hit is for killing this guy? I was killing time waiting for some friends and decided to reduce the Slaver population a bit. I was a 17th. Pally so this shouldn't have been a problem. I'm fighting a Dark Blue slaver when I realize someones healing his ass. I thought it was an Oracle but I wasn't getting hit by the spells. Finally realized it was the Elf, and had no option except to kill him. Now I'm curious as to the faction hit. Anybody got some info on this? Bindarf 18th. Level Pally The Rathe

When I see this dude walking around, it was a little weird to see him free, not only that but he was carrying a staff and wearing some sort of BP. Choosing to ignore it i found my cleric partner and we started to kill orcs. Well he wanders over to me and starts trying to hit me with is staff and healing the orc. I leave the wimply little orc to run and let the cleric twack at him, and turn on the elf. I really should't of killed him but I did ( the whole faction thingy ). He dropped about 5 rusty weapons, and 1 cracked staff, and the dwarven ringmail tunic, and about 2 platinum in copper/silver. People give him crap because their trying to get him to talk, and that crap adds up over time.... corse once you kill him faction would proubably be a bear to get back up again, and if your like me, you REALLY need all the faction you can get.

I got from dubious to amiable with my bard. Next do the super easy Emerald Warriors quest in Kelethin. Bring a spiderling eye, bat fur, bone chips, and a ruined wolf pelt to the warrior gm a few times and that's it.

I was harvesting slaves for faction and meat (troll SK 17th) and no matter how many times I killed this guy (and I had to have done so atleast two dozen times) he didn't drop anything.
He will heal the mobs around him though, so if the faction isn't a problem for you, then by all means kill him first.
He is in the hut behind the caves in CB. From the main enterance, take a left, cross the river, follow the wall on the left (over the hill) until you come to a building. He should be inside o the left...

Well, I am a Darkelf Necromantress (worship Innoruuk) and the priest started out dubiously with me. I don't know if the faction would be enough, never tried it yet, but i will do so and post my experience :)
The Elven Priest was never talking to me, just insulting me. The other day i went back to Freeport and gave 1400 Muffins to Pandos. Back in CB i checked my faction, he conned warmly to me! Still i did not try the quest since i am too low level to kill the warlord. BTW: Even if i worship Innoruuk i have high enough faction to do the quest.

Ehehe, such a liar back then. I remember posting this 4 years ago... ahh the good old days of newbhood. I never did this quest, never felt like waiting on a BoB or whatever, permacamped back then. He really did drop this for me, helped me get some pieces of banded armor, heh.
Wait a min.. 4 years and only level 54?! eh...
On another note, after many slayings of the slaves and Retlon Brencelog in my newbie days, I had really crappy faction and had to turn in a buttload of bat wings to do my Epic.

He aggroed on me and so, unknowing, I killed him. This one act took me from an "amiable" con to a "glowers dubiously" con in my guild (Clerics of Tunare) in Felwithe. Eeeeesh! I am 29th now and still have not been able to get enough good faction to correct it to even "indifferent".

If you kill the worthless elven priest does he drop the cloth of tunare. These things have a fast respawn rate. I might have to try it later. Besides, it's fun to listen to elves squeal. ')
uh I dunno about banded bracers but I KNOW that if you give the priest in CB the BOB(bracer of battle) you'll get the prayer cloth. then you give him the dwarven mace(that you got from the smith for giving him the dwarven ringmail from Crush himself) and the prayer cloth and he'll hand over a Screaming Mace
This guys is the one that you give the Banded bracers to for the screaming mace quest. He'll give you back a Prayer cloth of Tunare(WIS +3) awesome for druids and clerics! But you can also use it to finish the screaming mace quest.
