Pulling & Fighting

Enough with the robe crap. A good Lord group can pull the Arch Magi and Reanimated Hand, camping 3 spawns at once. Enchanter, Cleric, 2 Warriors, a Mage/Wiz and a necro are suggested to do it. On the SS-Leggings: Pretty pretty much worthless but better than cloth. Auctioned off for 26pp on Vallon. SMR is a fine addition to any casters wardrobe, except that it is pretty dang rare. 3 days gone with nothing to show of it. Good Luck.

RE: LOL

oh no it gives no int.... simple minded people, int does max out, you know, then it gets close to useless to have more, +50 mana is much better. the cha and resistence are a bonus
I can't get to 200
# May 22 2000 at 10:41 PM Rating: Default
I forgot to boost INT at the begining, and I'm only at 157 right now at almost level 34. I have a runed cowl, but I still need my GEBs and SMR, hehe. I need this damn robe...
200 INT and beyond...
# Apr 27 2000 at 8:25 AM Rating: Decent
Once you hit 50 (as a caster) you're likely to have well over 200 INT, and anything above 200 is useless, and each point of INT only accounts for 1 mana. So if say a person happens to have over 209 INT, with an SMR... if they switched their SMR for Robe of the Kedge, their mana would go from 2109 (considering they only have INT and no other mana + items, ie Moonstone Rings, etc) to 2200.

Just a little lesson for the misinformed.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 27 2001 at 10:30 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) alright ill try not to swear but ignorance is not bliss pal. each int point is NOT worth JUST one point of int. believe me. i have a few int casters friends and im not sure how many points but they say its several. and for one thing my druid uses wsidom and every SINGLE LITTLE POINT OF WISDOM is worth FIVE mana, NOT one. without a doubt your WRONG. afterall i wouldnt think for a second my druid has more mana then like a wizard 5 levels higher then me. your multiplier is wrong.
RE: 200 INT and beyond... -ok are your totally nuts?

No, mr Anonymous, you either didnt read Fadaars post or didnt understand it or you are just misinformed.
He is absolutely right about the 200int cap.
Every point up to Int 200 is in a certain way multiplied by your lvl, so yes at lvl 50 1 point of int below 200 gives you 10mana.
And above int 200 it gives you only 1mana.
Same thing with wis for wiscasters.

So before you flame people, get your facts straight please.

<Steps up on Soap Box> Speeking for myself as a Wizard of 50th lvl. each point of INT up to 200 is worth 10 mana. Each point over 200 INT is only worth 1 point of mana. The goal of the INT caster is to maximise thier total Mana. If the SMR helps you to this goal it is a graet Item but if not its upwards of 7K in the bank for you. <Steps down off Soap Box>

Isva vs SMR
# Apr 14 2000 at 10:25 AM Rating: Default
ok if you are simply trying to maximise mana, the Kedge robe is better. Do the math:

SMR 9 int at 50th level, 50*.2*9=90 mana

Kedge = 100 mana

Then use other slots to max your INT to 200 (not hard to do)

The result, more total mana. Not to mention the Stamina boost giving you more total hitpoints.
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 11 2000 at 12:54 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) cloak of shadows.. i would think that the white dragon scale cloak is the best cloak in the game, period even over planer cloaks
robes
# Apr 03 2000 at 1:03 PM Rating: Default
i will never understand why people say robe of the ishva is the best non-plane robes, it's stats are horrible compared to SMR or robe of the kedge, however, it looks really really really cool, and i would wear one over an SMR any day of the week (that's probably why people say they are better) so i will shut up now as i have answered my own question =)
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 31 2000 at 11:08 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I say that the best back armor is not a stupid robe. get your selfs a life Cloak of shadows is BEST!!!
